The women’s flyweight belt will be on the line in Salt Lake City this Sunday between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong.
There is no hiding that this is one of the weaker pay-per-view cards in recent history, but there are still plenty of opportunities to build a bank.Â
Here are my thoughts and betting plays for the entire main card.
The queen of the women’s flyweight division, Valentina Shevchenko, has been sidelined for up to a year which means the vacant belt is up for grabs on Sunday afternoon.Â
Natalia Silva is the obvious option to take the opportunity with 14 straight victories including three over former champions.Â
In her last three fights she has defeated Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso and Rose Namajunas by unanimous decision.Â
The Brazilian is a purple belt in Taekwondo, a blue belt in BJJ but it has been her active striking that has been a handful for her opponents throughout this winning streak.Â
Her opponent is China’s Wang Cong who had an undefeated kickboxing career before moving into MMA in 2022 and has put together an impressive record that consists of just one loss.Â
She brings in a four fight winning streak including a unanimous decision win over Tracy Cortez despite being deducted a point in round 2.Â
Wang Cong is a very experienced striker and in fact she has a kickboxing win over Valentina Shevchenko in her early career.Â
She may be in trouble should the fight go to the ground but if she can avoid that, there is plenty of value in a decision win.Â
The Deiveson Figueiredo that we see today isn’t the best version of himself but he has been fighting the very best in the sport for a long time and hasn’t shied away from the best possible opponents.Â
Despite losing four of his last five fights, the former champ has wins over Chito Vera, Cody Garbrandt and Branden Moreno since 2022.Â
Payton Talbott comes into this fight as the very short favourite thanks to back to back wins.Â
The latest of those wins came via decision way back in December 2025 against the now retired Henry Cejudo and I’m not convinced he should be as short as his current quote against an extremely dangerous and experienced opponent.Â
Two of the most brutal losses you are likely to see had everyone worried that it was the end for King Green.Â
He was first choked unconscious by Paddy Pimblett and then brutally knocked out by Mauricio Ruffy via a spinning wheel kick.Â
But we shouldn’t have been worried as King Green, many fans’ favourite fighter, bounced back like that never happened, winning his next four in a row.Â
Esteban Ribovics is 10 years younger than his opponent but is still a very experienced mixed martial artist who has won 13 of his 16 opponents by KO/TKO or submission.Â
There is plenty of dog left in Green but this seems a bad match up for him on paper.Â
