ICC Champions Trophy 2025 – Daily Tips

After an eight year hiatus, the ICC Champions Trophy is back and is all going down in Pakistan (or Dubai if you are India).

There isn’t enough 50 over cricket going on around the world right now and we are excited to see some more here!

For every game of the tournament I’ll be giving you my thoughts (and tips) so feel free to bookmark this article and check back when the Aussies’ are playing.

Australia v South Africa

The two teams in the World Test Championship final will do battle on arguably a bigger stage here, a group stage ICC Champions Trophy fixture in Rawalpindi.

Both sides won their first game, Australia chasing down a monumental total, I’m not betting against them in this one.

Josh Inglis seems to be the man in form at the moment and is still good value to be top runscorer at $6.00 but that does require both Travis Head and Steve Smith to fail once again which I don’t see happening.

My Bets

  • Australia H2H @ $1.72
  • Travis Head Top Australian Runscorer @ $4.20
  • Adam Zampa Top Australian Wickettaker @ $3.75
  • Rassie Van der Dussen Top South African Runscorer @ $4.80
  • Marco Jansen Top South African Wickettaker @ $3.75
Australia v England

Australia get their campaign started tonight against some familiar foes but it’s the lack of familiarity in our bowling attack that has me concerned.

A lot has already been said about the lack of Cummins, Starc and Hazelwood and it’s effected the market here. Australia and England are incredibly close price wise.

There is a lot of pressure on Adam Zampa to lead this bowling attack and you know what, I’m confident he can do it against a minnow side like England.

My Bets

  • Australia H2H @ $1.80
  • Travis Head Top Australian Runscorer @ $3.90
  • Adam Zampa Top Australian Wickettaker @ $3.35
  • Harry Brook Top English Runscorer @ $6.25
  • Jofra Archer Top English Wickettaker @ $3.60
Afghanistan v South Africa

We should see a very close contest in this one, the Afghanis are on the rise and a matchup with South Africa is very winnable here!

Our World Test Championship opponents are $1.40 to Afghanistan’s $2.80 and as I write this, I’m talking myself into an upset for Afghanistan.

The conditions should favour Afghanistan and the likes of Gurbaz and Rashid Khan have the ability to take a game away from opponents especially in these tournament formats.

My Bets

  • Afghanistan H2H @ $2.80
  • Rahmanullah Gurbaz Top Afghanistan Runscorer @ $4.20
  • Rashid Khan Top Afghanistan Wickettaker @ $3.35
  • Rassie Van der Dussen Top South African Runscorer @ $5.00
  • Marco Jansen Top South African Wickettaker @ $3.75
Bangladesh V India

The Bangers have drawn the short straw first in this tournament and are up against India in the second game of the ICC Champions Trophy.

As much as I’d love to tip the $7.25 underdogs, I don’t think they have much of a chance against India. Even if they did just lose a Test series against us Big Dawgs.

Shubman Gill is the man that revs my tractor the most for the Indian’s his whiteball record is bloody shmick of late and there is a good reason he is the favourite for top Indian Runscorer.

And I can’t go against my boy Arshdeep Singh one of my favourite bets in any whiteball tournaments, Arshdeep should be in for a big day.

My Bets

  • India H2H @ $1.08
  • Shubman Gill Top India Runscorer @ $3.70
  • Arshdeep Singh Top India Wickettaker @ $3.60
Pakistan vs New Zealand

The host nation Pakistan will get this tournament kicked off with what should be a cracking clash against the Kiwis.

The bookies have Pakistan as ever so slight favourites but in the ICC’s ODI rankings these two teams are neck and neck.

You’d hope that Pakistan can get it done at home and with the likes of Babar Azam who is the current world number on ODI batsmen, I lean towards them.

It is completley on brand for Pakistan to go missing in a tournament however and if you liked the Kiwis in this, I cannot fault you.

My Bets

  • Pakistan H2H @ $1.72
  • Babar Azam Top Pakistan Runscorer @ $3.40
  • Haris Rauf Top Pakistan Wickettaker @ $3.45
  • Daryl Mitchell Top New Zealand Runscorer @ $4.75
  • Matt Henry Top New Zealand Wickettaker @ $3.35
