The Brisbane v Fremantle Grand Final is the best Grand Final I remember, since at least 2012. But in a peculiar way, it’s also the one that ended most like it should have. This was a game where the two clubs, beyond just the players on the park, reverted to who they are. Brisbane is a winning club, content with villainy because it comes with excellence.
