Oliveranotherday heads into Saturday in outstanding form after winning all four of his starts in his latest campaign, and there’s every reason to think he can keep that momentum going.
His record is impressive, with five victories and a placing from just seven runs. He has already tasted success at Caulfield, giving him valuable experience at the track, while his speed should allow him to handle the shorter trip despite returning fresh.
The Nicconi gelding faced Listed-class opposition at Warrnambool last time out and produced an impressive performance to win.
There hasn’t been a huge amount of early betting interest since he opened at $2.25, although that could change as race day approaches. He is a well-backed type, and from the inside barrier, he gets a great opportunity to add another win to his record.

Bridal Waltz looks the next best option, with the 5YO returning from a spell after last racing in April. She produced an excellent performance that day, finishing runner-up at Group 1 level.
The Snitzel mare chased home Geegees Mistruth in the Sangster Stakes, and that form looks strong enough to measure up here. She was taking on a quality Group 1 field and only narrowly missed out, which gives her a solid platform heading into this assignment.
She also has a strong record when resuming, having won twice first-up previously. From barrier 3, she should get the chance to settle into the race before using her sharp turn-of-foot late.
At $4.50, she appeals as a reasonable price given her class and recent form. Those odds may shorten by race day, and with her popularity among punters, Bridal Waltz deserves serious consideration in The Heath 1100 Stakes predictions.

De Bergerac has done most of his best work on straight courses, but the six-year-old Zoustar gelding has the ability to be competitive in The Heath 1100 Stakes.
His only previous attempt at Caulfield ended without a placing, although that shouldn’t be enough to rule him out. He is a genuine sprinting professional who consistently produces honest performances, as shown by his recent record of one win and three placings from his past four starts.
Wet conditions are also a positive for De Bergerac. He has an excellent record on rain-affected ground, with four wins along with several placings on soft and heavy tracks.
