UFC 324: Gaethje vs Pimblett Tips & Preview

The first UFC event of 2026 is upon us and we head to the fighting capital of the world, Las Vegas, this weekend for the inaugural Paramount + card.

Perennial UFC Lightweight contender Justin Gaethje will again fight for an interim title when he takes on Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett in the main event.

There are plenty of quality fights right across the card and our top betting plays for UFC 324 can be found below.

Justin Gaethje vs Paddy Pimblett
Justin Gaethje To Win @ $2.85

What a main event we have on Sunday!

Justin Geathje makes one last run at a UFC title and he can claim the interim belt with a win in the main event.

He beat Tony Ferguson to win the interim lightweight title in his earlier career and he of course claimed the BMF title by beating Dustin Poirier as well.

But never undisputed.

Paddy Pimblett burst onto the MMA scene in England and quickly built a fanbase and he has transferred his personality over to the UFC with great results.

His fast growing fanbase wasn’t the only success he has had in the biggest promotion in the sport and he remains undefeated.

With every fight his skillset has visibly improved and wins over Tony Ferguson, King Green and Michael Chandler earned him a shot at UFC gold.

He has never fought a striker like this before and I am of the belief that it has gone a little too soon for him.

Sean O’Malley vs Song Yadong
Sean O’Malley To Win @ $1.50

Striking fans rejoice as we have a beauty of a co-main event between two very unique and astute strikers.

Sean O’Malley has already climbed to the top of the division once before only to be beaten by the same man, Merab Dvalishvili, twice now to deny him gold again.

But now that that man has been dethroned from the top, an opportunity awaits him once again.

Song Yadong has had success in recent times mainly through his ability to land big shots in such a low weight class.

He has a fantastic skillset for MMA boxing and knock out wins over Ricky Simon and Marlon Moraes is evidence of this.

But he does have eight losses on his overall record and meets a very crafty opponent.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs Derrick Lewis
Derrick Lewis To Win by KO/TKO

Cortes-Acosta has been on a roll in recent times and incredibly he fought five times during 2025 which resulted in four victories.

This has earned him a shot against one of the most dangerous men to ever enter into the UFC octagon in its history.

Derrick Lewis has 16 victories via knockout and with his sights set on a spot at the Whitehouse later in the year, he will be hungry to end this hype train.

And we are getting a great price!
