Peter Snowden’s progressive four-year-old daughter of So You Think, Tuileries ($10), returned to winning form with a dominant three-quarter length upset in Scone’s 2026 Dark Jewel Classic results. Improving on her second last at Rosehill in the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes back in March, Tuileries swept home late to hand Snowden Racing their fourth victory in event as the mare defied the hefty 59.5kg top weight and a wide barrier 15 draw to charge over the top of Luvnwar and Yes Lulu in the closing stages.

The Dark Jewel Classic, named after the legendary broodmare Dark Jewel, is a Group 3 race held annually in May at Scone Racecourse.
Part of the renowned Scone Cup Carnival, it takes place on the Saturday following the Listed Scone Cup (1600m) on Friday.
This 1400m race for fillies and mares offers a $250,000 prize purse and is a quality handicap event, meaning horses carry weights adjusted to try for an even race.
First run in 1996, the Dark Jewel Classic has seen many talented mares cross the finish line, including Daysee Doom (2017) and Con Te Partiro (2019) who went on to win the prestigious Group 1 Coolmore Classic – Queen Of The Turf Stakes double the following year.
The 2021 winner, Rocha Clock, also showed the race’s quality by placing second in both the lucrative $2 million The Invitation (1400m) and the Group 2 $500,000 Hot Danish Stakes (1400m) that spring.
