Friday night racing is here, and our Neds Sunshine Coast Best Bets are ready to point you in the right direction as we look to kick off the weekend with a few winners.
INDAMOUSE (2) finished fifth at Eagle Farm last start, making late ground after settling near the back over 1600m.
The David Vandyke-trained gelding now returns to provincial grade, and the step up to 1800m looks a good fit.
He has placed twice in six starts this preparation against mostly metropolitan opposition.
From the inside draw, he should be able to settle closer and get his chance in the finish.

CASTAWAY (2) failed to make much impression in Victoria but looks to have settled in well on the Sunshine Coast for Garnett Taylor.
He has looked sharp in two recent trials and won his most recent hit-out over 1000m.
He maps to lead and should be able to use his early speed to advantage.
A change of stable and a forward position could help him show more on race day.

GAMBLER (8) has turned his form around since joining Jack Bruce, who has quickly got the best out of him.
He broke through for the new stable with a strong 1000m win over this course and distance last start.
He has the early speed to take control and looks the likely leader again.
If he gets his own way in front, he’ll be tough to run down.

LYRICAL GANGSTER (2) showed plenty of promise with a strong 1300m win at his home track two starts ago, leading before kicking clear to score.
The Corey & Kylie Geran-trained gelding had excuses at the Sunshine Coast last start, racing keenly and getting held up in the straight to finish a solid fifth.
He’ll appreciate returning to 1300m and maps to get a great run on speed.
With his Toowoomba win fresh in the mind, he can bounce back.
