Muswellbrook is the focus on Tuesday as we look to continue the week on the right note in our Daily Best Bets!
THE PROSPECT (4) gets back out to 1500m after running on well for second over this trip at Hawkesbury two back.
He was entitled to weaken off a nine-week break at Beaumont over shorter last start and has since had his gear tinkered with. The blinkers go on now and he’s drawn to receive every chance working home off the speed.

| Second run back. First-up after two months ran last of 8 in a Mid Mdn-Sw at Beaumont (Newcastle) on August 25 over 1350m, on a slow track; 6 len behind Yvonne’s Joy with 59kg at $10. Previously second-up 6th of 8 in a Mid 3yo Mdn at Newcastle on June 13 over 1400m, slow going 4.5 len behind Full Of Fun with 57.5kg at $8. Blinkers go on and gets another chance | |||
AMAJICSTAR (2) really caught the eye when leading all the way to win on debut.
She opened up a big gap to go nearly three lengths clear and strikes another winnable race with the 2kg claim helping her out at the weights. Looks a nice bet to roll to the front and take catching again.

| Was well-supported at debut, won favourite; won by 2.75 len at Newcastle on August 13 over 900m defeating Pure Ecstasy carrying 52kg at $3.10. Won by a big space on debut and will take catching again. | |||
MAYSUN (6) gets the blinkers on second-up for Team Snowden.
The daughter to Tassort showed plenty on return at Bathurst last month to run second on a very heavy track, indicating she’ll be forward enough for this assignment given she was thrown in the deep end over 1200m.

| Third race start. First start 5th of 8 in a Mdn at Canberra on April 17 over 1000m, slow going 3.5 len behind Isn’t She Autumn carrying 55.5kg at $7. Returned from break 2nd in a small field in a F&M Mdn at Bathurst on August 17 over 1200m, on rain affected going; long-neck behind Celestial Grace with 56kg at $5.50. Blinkers go on for this and strips fitter today. | |||
KAKODA (10) should be very hard to beat here back in class.
She spent time racing at Saturday grade over the winter without winning, notably placing third at Rosehill over 1100m.
The claim helps immensely here, especially if she can find some early cover from the gate.
| 10. Kakoda (9) J: Izzy Neale 57kg 71230T: Scott Singleton | |||
| Last start 11th of 15 in a Highway-C2 at Randwick on August 22 over 1100m, on a slow track; 5.5 len behind Mrs Goldberg carrying 55kg at $15. The start before that 3rd of 13 in a Highway-C2 at Rosehill on July 18 over 1100m, in the wet; 5 len behind Sneaky Pee Cee with 55.5kg at $4.20. Had excuses from the wide draw in town and can bounce back here. | |||
