We have Bobbie Lewis Quality tips and predictions for the Group 2 1200m race at Flemington on Saturday.
Bobbie Lewis Quality odds have Oliveranotherday at skinny odds, as the Warrnambool-based gelding looks to extend his winning streak.
It’s almost impossible to look past Oliveanotherday as the best bet with Bobbie Lewis Quality tips.
The 4YO hasn’t put a foot wrong with six wins and a placing from eight starts, and his 1.5-length win at Caulfield last start had a touch of class about it. He got into a good rhythm before putting the field away, and it wasn’t an easy field.
He’s taking on proven Group 1 horses on Saturday, and running down the straight track has tripped up many a good horse, but he’s a professional pocket rocket, and he runs at short odds for a reason.
We wanted to find better value for this race, but even at $1.75, he represents value. He’s heading to the top, and this is a good stepping stone for him and a great chance to pick up a Group 2 victory.

| Second run back. First-up after four months favourite; came from midfield and won by 1.5 len in a G3 The Heath 1100 Stakes at Caulfield on August 29 over 1100m in soft going defeating Bridal Waltz with 58kg at $2.30. Previously second-up favourite; scored a big 3.5 len win in a 3yo Bm66 at Caulfield Heath on March 18 over 1200m defeating Hotspur Reale with 60.5kg at $1.40. Big chance to add to the picket fence. Very exciting sprinter who should be taking care of these again. | |||
Enriched can be a tough horse to follow, but his fifth at Randwick last start is a good form guide for the Bobbie Lewis Quality.
He ran behind Midnight in Tokyo and Soothsayer, with Soothsayer since running second in a well-rated race last Saturday in Sydney, so ruling out Enriched based on that effort wouldn’t be smart.
He has experience running down the Flemington straight with two starts for a placing, and drawing barrier 14 means he can use the outside rail to his advantage if he wants to. He also gets 53.5kg on his back, which makes a big difference.
The odds are generous, and he always has upset potential, so include him in Bobbie Lewis Quality predictions.

| Second-up. First-up after four months 5th of 8 in the G3 Show County Quality at Randwick on August 22 over 1200m, on a slow track; 2.25 len behind Midnight In Tokyo carrying 58kg at $4.80. Previously second-up came from midfield; 2nd of 12 in the G3 Liverpool City Cup at Randwick on February 28 over 1300m, slow going 1.3 len behind King Of Roseau with 53.5kg at $7.50. Rough place hope. | |||
A Flemington straight track specialist is De Bergerac, who has three wins and five placings at the circuit.
The 6YO gelding ran sixth at Caulfield last start behind Oliveanotherday, so he’ll need to turn that around, but he’s a different animal down the track, and he could wind up late to score the upset win.
He has also drawn wide, which is right up his alley, and the $23/$5 is a great price. He should settle midfield before launching late, so don’t leave him out of Bobbie Lewis Quality tips.
