MISTER BIANCO (2) just needs to handle the extra weight second-up to be considered a serious winning chance.
The son to Zousain was beaten only 1.5 lengths as the favourite first-up at Grafton last month where he made up some decent ground in the late stages after settling off the speed.
He came out and won narrowly over 1200m on the Gold Coast second-up last time in work, and was far from disgraced in tougher Benchmark contests later in his prep.

FORTUNE (4) can mix his form but is worth sticking with after an encouraging return effort at Grafton.
The Archibald-trained gelding ran second over the mile and was only 1.5 lengths off the winner, which is significant given he was drawn very wide in barrier 11.
He’ll need to find some early running room on Friday from the inside alley, but considering his overall record over 1600m (11:2-3-1) he’s a key threat.

VIXENETTE (1) is knocking on the door of another win for Matthew Dunn and connections.
The daughter to Trapeze Artist ran on strongly at Grafton over the same distance last start, finishing two lengths third after adopting an early position around midfield.
Rock-hard fit with four runs under her belt now and drawn to find a similar spot off the speed, she should be hard to hold out with Aaron Bullock retaining the ride.
