Which Horse Will Win The Vanity in 2024
The best way to pick which filly will win The Vanity in 2024 is to take into account their lead-up spring racing form, assess the barriers, look for past Group performers and those with a good record at the track/distance.
Additional factors to consider when picking The Vanity winner include:
- Flemington Factor – Looking for fillies with previous form down the iconic Flemington track is important
- Distance – The Vanity has been dominated by young fillies showing ability over the 1400m or further as opposed to sprinters being stretched in distance. In 2023 Wollomib won The Vanity at Flemington on the back of two 1400m Warwick Farm wins in Sydney.
The Vanity Favourites 2024
Favourites in The Vanity 2024 betting include the James Cummings-trained Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude runner-up Zeitung, Anthony & Sam Freedman’s Group 1 performed market mover Matisse, and Chris Waller’s unbeaten Extreme Choice filly Extremely Hardys up in grade.
Zou Dancer ($3.60 in 2021) followed by Barb Raider ($2.90 in 2022) are the last The Vanity favourites to win.
