Randwick Guineas 2026 Results
The official 2026 Randwick Guineas results will be available below once the race takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
- #9 Sheza Alibi
- #1 Autumn Boy
- #2 Attica
Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman’s outstanding filly Sheza Alibi ($2.10F) gave the boys a galloping lesson when saluting for the punters by a huge 3.2 length margin in Saturday’s 2026 Randwick Guineas results. The sole filly in the field, she became the first of her kind since Mosheen (2012) to beat home the colts and geldings when rated to perfection by Luke Nolen – now a 2000-time winning hoop – to level up to the front runners and race away for her fourth straight victory.

Randwick Guineas 2026 Tips
Our insider 2026 Randwick Guineas tips will be detailed here the week of the race and a full betting preview published on the Neds Blog.
Run over 1,600 metres every March, the Randwick Guineas is a Group 1 race for three-year-olds held during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival. With a $1,000,000 prize purse, it is a big autumn target for the middle-distance youngsters and has been won by plenty of nice types including in recent years Weekend Hussler (2008), It’s A Dundeel (2013), and The Autumn Sun (2019).

If you’re looking for a nice lead in to this race, the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes (1400m) has been a good recent guide with Celestial Legend (2024), The Autumn Sun (2019) and Kementari (2018) all recently completing the double.
The Randwick Guineas winner also gains a ballot exemption for the Group 1 Australian Derby (2400m) and the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) held during Sydney’s ‘The Championships’ later in the autumn.
Celestial Legend (2024) was the last horse to complete the Randwick Guineas – Doncaster double.
In 2021 the Randwick Guineas winner Lion’s Roar went on to run third in that season’s Australian Derby results.
In 2022 Anamoe improved on a Randwick Guineas second to Converge to beat that runner home in a reverse quinella in the Rosehill Guineas. Anamoe further franked the Randwick Guineas form that spring winning five Group 1s on the trot including the iconic Cox Plate race at Moonee Valley.
The 2023 Randwick Guineas also produced that year’s Rosehill Guineas winner with the runner-up Lindermann going one better next start.
The 2025 Randwick Guineas proved a strong form race, with runner‑up Broadsiding stepping straight out and winning the Rosehill Guineas at his next start when rising in trip.
In 2026, Sheza Alibi became the first filly to win the Randwick Guineas since Mosheen (2012).

Which Horse Will Win the Randwick Guineas?
The best way to pick which horse will win the Randwick Guineas in 2026 is to take into account their lead-up autumn racing form, assess the barriers, look at their previous Randwick track form and ability over the distance.
Additional factors to consider when picking the Randwick Guineas winner include:
- Three By Three – Look for the three-year-olds that have been placing in the top three in their last three races.
- Failing Fillies – The fairer sex has a poor record in this race, when compared to colts and geldings, with Sheza Alibi (2026) the first filly to win since 2012.
- Hobartville Lead-Up – The Hobartville Stakes has proven the best recent lead-up into the Group 1. Celestial Legend (2024) was the last to do the double.
