Run over 1,600 metres, the Crystal Mile is a Group 2 race taking place at Moonee Valley Racecourse. With a $300,000 prize purse, it attracts some of Australia’s best milers, along with a few international entrants.

Starting out as a Listed Race, this race was upgraded to Group 3 status in 1986, followed by Group 2 status in 1997.
