The 1937 Caulfield Guineas winner Ajax would go on to become a 14-time Group 1 winner and be inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame.

The 2022 Caulfield Guineas winner Golden Mile also saluted for the punters handing the Godolphin stable, trainer James Cummings and jockey James McDonald back-to-back victories in the event.
The 2023 Caulfield Guineas winner was the Ciaron Maher & David Eustace-trained Griff who shifted late but came away protest-free to salute by 1.75 lengths in an upset at 30/1 off a Stutt Stakes win at The Valley.
The 2024 Caulfield Guineas was the Chris Waller-trained Private Life ($13) who improved on a Prelude fourth to score a narrow upset in a thrilling finish over the mile.
