Group Stage
Netherlands vs Japan Prediction – Group F (Match 1)
The Dutch haven’t exactly had a dream lead-in with a few key outs. Xavi Simons and Jerdy Schouten among them, but let’s not kid ourselves, this squad is still absolutely loaded.
Van Dijk at the back, Gakpo up top… there’s class everywhere you look.
Japan, though, are no pushovers. They’re a proper smoky — high energy, aggressive midfield, and they love to get on the front foot and force mistakes. It’s exciting… but against a side like the Netherlands, it can also blow up in your face pretty quickly.
They’ve been winning games, sure, but the big stage is a different beast. If the Dutch control possession and tempo like we expect, they should be too strong.
Ecuador vs Ivory Coast – Group E (Match 2)
Ivory Coast bring some serious firepower as Pépé and Kessié are more than capable of finding the net and asking plenty of questions.
But Ecuador are one of those teams that just set up beautifully. Disciplined, structured, and tough to break down.
The Elephants will come out hard early, but if Ecuador hold firm like they have against quality sides recently, this could turn into a bit of a grind.
There’s not much between them, and with both sides comfortable in low-scoring games, the unders looks the play.
Sweden vs Tunisia – Group F (Match 2)
Sweden come in fit and firing after a bit of a chaotic qualifying campaign, but they’ve found something under Graham Potter.
There’s been a clear shift tactically, and it’s all about getting the best out of Gyökeres and Isak — and when those two click, they’re seriously dangerous.
Tunisia, though, are built on defence. Rock solid. They’ve made a habit of shutting teams out and won’t make life easy here.
The big question is how they set up — whether they go conservative or really park the bus, but either way, this screams tight contest.
The draw’s very much in play… and don’t be shocked if Tunisia sneak something.
