Race 2 – WOMEN BEHIND THE WINNERS SHOWCASE F&M CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
No. 1 Deodee

DEODEE (1) returned in good order at Dubbo when third beaten 1.29 lengths over 1100m, weaving through the pack and making good ground from midfield.

She ended last preparation in style with a dominant 4.36-length win at Ballina, putting the race away with authority.

Izzy Neale’s 1.5kg claim is a plus.

With natural improvement second-up and a good draw, she looks well placed to go close.

Race 3 – WESTERN RACING HEROINES SHOWCASE CG&E CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
No. 1 Boncapo

BONCAPO (1) was dominant at Dubbo last start when winning by 6.22 lengths over 1300m, settling behind the speed before bursting clear late.

That was his first run for Michael Mulholland after previously racing in Victoria with Ciaron Maher and he looks well suited in this jurisdiction.

The son of Street Boss has the speed to overcome the wide draw and race prominently.

With that form and natural progression, he looks well placed to go on with it.

Race 6 – WARREN LADIES DAY SHOWCASE COONAMBLE CANNONBALL (1000 METRES)
No. 4 Crook

CROOK (4) was very good first-up at Scone when second beaten 1.74 lengths in heavy conditions after settling handy and sticking on well.

She showed last preparation that she improves second-up, scoring a strong win at Orange over 1000m.

The Lundholm-trained mare looks well placed to build on that return.

With her on-speed pattern, she can give a bold sight again.

Race 8 – BOOTS HATS AND HERITAGE COUNTRY BOOSTED SHOWCASE CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)
No. 12 Midnight Rabble

MIDNIGHT RABBLE (12) comes into this off back-to-back wins at Moree, latest when scoring over 950m, charging through the field to put the race away.

Prior to that, he won by just over half a length, showing a strong turn of foot to prove too good late.

The Joseph Hodgson-trained gelding looks ready for his first start at Warren.

He can settle off what looks to be a good speed and be finishing strongly.
