ZWEIGELT (5) looks well placed given he’s lightly raced and has more upside than his rivals.
The Matt Dunn-trained gelding was last seen charging to the line over 2120m at Lismore to finish a half-length second.
He’d been racing in good form prior to that, winning at Eagle Farm over a mile just three starts ago.
The outside barrier isn’t ideal, but it’s a small field and he has the speed to work across and find a forward position.

SIDEACT (5) returns to the races for just the second time after an excellent debut performance in June.
The Robert Agnew-trained gelding let down nicely over 1000m on a heavy Taree deck to finish 1.05 lengths second with third just over three lengths away.
He was sent for a spell after that run and starts his campaign here following a soft trial.
He’s drawn to get a sweet run.

LATIN LIGHTS (2) raced well last start over 1536m at Lismore when finding the line well to finish 2.27 lengths second.
The Matt Dunn-trained mare will enjoy the rise to a mile given she broke her maiden three starts ago over 1700m as a $1.22 favourite.
She has the speed to make use of the inside barrier and I expect her to be hard to beat.

NO NO NO NO NO NO (2) placed in two of his three races in Victoria prior to joining the Matt Dunn stable.
The son of Yes Yes Yes had his first start recently for the Murwillumbah conditioner when resuming over 1000m at Eagle Farm where he was a well beaten third behind the flying Dragon Link, but he did race wide.
He’ll strip fitter second-up and will find this a touch easier.
The rise in distance suits.
