Sandown is the focus on Wednesday as we look to continue the week on the right note in our Daily Best Bets!
| 11. Gold Chariot (6) J: Blake Shinn 57kg 2×411T: Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr |
JACARANDA (2) looks well placed here after another break of close to four weeks.
The Hayes-trained filly finished runner-up over this track and distance last month behind Buggsy, leading for much of the way before fitness gave out late.
She has also produced some solid performances at Stakes level earlier in her career and maps to enjoy a well-timed run from midfield on Wednesday, with the apprentice claim providing further relief at the weights.
| 2. Jacaranda (4) J: Jackson Radley 58kg 55×42T: Ben, Will & Jd Hayes |
WARNIE (3) was set to line up on Moir Stakes Day at Caulfield last Saturday before the meeting was abandoned.
He was one of the runs of the race behind Shadhavar in the Listed Regal Roller Stakes at Caulfield a few weeks ago, settling at the rear before working into the clear and finishing fourth, just 1.5 lengths from the winner.
He really hit top gear over the final 50m and continued to close the gap, so this looks a winnable assignment with Mark Zahra retaining the ride and a few extra days between runs.

CHANGING COLOURS (5) returns with fresh legs after winning on the Caulfield Heath track just over 30 days ago.
She has been outstanding since joining the Lucy Yeomans stable, winning back-to-back races by a combined 3.5 lengths.
The return to a mile on another wet track looks ideal, while barrier four should allow Blake Shinn to settle her just off midfield before making her move when it matters.
