Queensland State of Origin (2006-2017)
Just one to really rile up the New South Welshman ahead of a decider.
The head to head is 24–17.
Not and insane gap but it is rubber stamped by the greatest run in origin history – eight straight/11 from 12 dominance of the mid 2000s.
Boasting a team of future immortals at the peak of their powers, Thurston, Smith, Lockyer, Inglis to name a few, Queensland laid down a run that will likely never be repeated.

New England Patriots (Tom Brady Era)
The Patriots had a trophy cabinet that was lucky to have a tumble weed rolling through it.
But then along came Thomas Edward Brady Jr.
Brady could have his own ranking in this list as a one-man dynasty with three half of fame careers.
His rise to greatness elevated the nobody Patriots to six titles including back-to-back wins in 2004-2005.
Bostin Celtics (1956 to 1969)
The Boston Celtics, with Bill Russell were on another level.
Russell’s insane defense and rebounding were clutch, helping them snatch a wild 11 championships in 13 seasons.
This legendary streak made Boston the team to beat in the NBA and solidified Russell as the GOAT of winning alongside the other GOAT in this list
Chicago Bulls (1984–1998)
During the Michael Jordan era, the Chicago Bulls captured six NBA championships, including two historic three-peats (1991–93, 1996–98 with a retirement in the middle)
Jordan, alongside Scottie Pippen and under coach Phil Jackson’s triangle offense, turned the Bulls into a global phenomenon.
The fact that this Bulls team never tasted an NBA Finals defeat keeps Michael Jordan locked in the GOAT debate forever.
New York Yankees (1920 – 2009)
The entire Yankees existence pre 2009 has been a dynasty
From the 1920s to the 1960s, the New York Yankees built a baseball empire, winning 20 World Series titles including a five-year streak.
From 1970 – 2009 they won at least one World Series each decade except for the 80s. Theyier total is a staggering 27 titles.
Their World Series loss to the Dodgers last year was their first appearance since their 2009 win. Could we be on track for another title soon?
Manchester United (The Ferguson Era)

His era was the most successful in the club’s history, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest managers of all time.
St George Dragons (1956 – 1966)
The St George Dragons achieved one of the most dominant runs in rugby league history, winning 11 consecutive premierships—a record that still stands across all major Australian sports.
Led by legends like Reg Gasnier, Johnny Raper, and Norm Provan, the Dragons were unstoppable.
Shame they’ll never see that kind of dominance ever again.
Hawthorn Hawks (2013-2015)
Hawthorn’s three-peat from 2013 to 2015 stands as one of the most dominant runs in modern AFL history.
Led by coach Alastair Clarkson and stars like Luke Hodge, Sam Mitchell, Cyril Rioli, and Jarryd Roughead, their back-to-back-to-back premierships capped off a golden era that saw Hawthorn reach four straight Grand Finals and firmly entrench themselves as a modern dynasty.
