It’s all starting to get very real as we head towards the pointy end of the regular season.
Divisions are being won, playoff spots are getting locked in and we are finally through all the dreaded bye rounds.
It’s a full slate of games in Week 15 with some big playoff implications coming up.
I’ve run my eyes over every game and here’s what I like for Week 15 of the NFL season.
The 49ers have been a massive disappointment this season and are currently staring down the bottom of the NFC West.
The Rams are still in the hunt for the divisional title in the West, and a win here would do massive things for not only their playoff chances but will put the squeeze on Seattle who are currently one win ahead of them.
Yes San Fran dominated last week against the Bears but I’m not sure if they will be able to keep it close against a Rams team that put 44 points on the Bills who were firming in the Super Bowl markets before last week.
That combination of Stafford, Puka and Kupp seems far too good for my liking, Rams for the “upset” here.
My Bets Multi $5.02
- Los Angeles Rams H2H @ $2.15
- Puka Nacua 75+ Receiving yards @ $1.38
- Puka Nacua Anytime Touchdown Scorer @ $2.35
- Side Bet: Isaac Guerendo 60+ Rushing Yards @ $1.50
- Side Bet: Isaac Guerendo Anytime Touchdown @ $1.58
Bad game, horrible game, stinky game.
Both these sides are limping towards the NFL draft next season, they’ve both been eliminated from the playoffs already and the rest of the season looks very grim for both these sides.
Despite a narrow victory over the Titans last week, the Jags had no offense for the first three quarters and will most likely, not have an answer for NY here who did lose last week but still managed to take the Dolphins to OT.
There’s enough offensive weapons for NY here that give me confidence they’ll pick up a win.
And if you’re a Jag not named Brian Thomas Jr, I don’t want to know you.
My Bets
- New York Jets -3.5 @ $1.94
- Breece Hall 60+ Rushing Yards
- Breece Hall Anytime Touchdown Scorer
This is the second hit someone has put out on a New Yorker this week and Lamar Jackson will be the man to carry it out.
There will be less of a conspiracy theory as to who gunned the Giants down here.
They’re already shot to bits and Lamar is more than likely going to put them out of their misery.
The line at +15 is bonkers, take the Ravens to cover close your eyes and throw a dart at the TD markets, mine landed on Zay Flowers.
My Bets
- Baltimore Ravens -15 @ $1.90
- Lamar Jackson 250+ Passing Yards
- Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Zay Flowers Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The Commies are fresh off the bye and the Saints are fresh off… narrowly beating the downtrodden NY Giants.
You have to lean towards Washington here especially with how they have looked before the bye, at 8-5 and their QB is the frontrunner for OROTY.
The Commanders hit a bit of a rough patch before their bye but you’d think a week off to rest and reset this late in the year, they could be primed to go boom in this game.
Saints are useless as well just quietly.
My Bets
- Washington Commanders 14+ @ $2.70
- Brian Robinson 60+ Rushing Yards
- Terry McLaurin Anytime Touchdown Scorer
For the first time in two years the Carolina Panthers are betting favourites and honestly, we could be on here.
The Panthers, despite not winning many games down the stretch have looked very good and you just get the feeling this matchup against a dejected Cowboys team could be where they finally put it together.
There’s a million next gen stats I could throw at you to prove my point but all I’m going to say is. Go watch some Bryce Young highlights. He. Is. Him.
Bryce to throw for 6 billion this week, the Cowboys can suck my farts.
My Bets
- Carolina Panthers H2H @ $1.72
- Bryce Young 250+ Passing Yards
- Chuba Hubbard Anytime Touchdown
Full credit to KC’s necromancer, his black magic has kept the Chiefs in some close games but they have a chance to win on their own terms this week against the Browns.
Cleveland are playing like… well Cleveland at the moment and love finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot and against a team like the Chiefs. We may see them finally win a game by a convincing margin here.
The Chiefs are still yet to win a game by more than 13 points this year and while I think they can do it here. I’m going to wuss out and take them at the line.
My Bets
- Kansas City Chiefs -4 @ $1.90
- Deandre Hopkins 60+ Receiving
- Patrick Mahomes 3+ Passing Touchdowns
The Bengals finally picked up another win last week and if it wasn’t for the Burrow/Chase connection. They would be looking at a very high draft pick next year.
This week Joe and the boys get to play the Titans who couldn’t even score a TD on the Jags last week and just like the Chiefs above, this could be their best chance at a 14+.
A lot of that hinges on their defence but I think even Cincy’s sad sack defense will be able to keep the Titans at bay.
My Bets
- Bengals 14+ @ $3.00
- Ja’Marr Chase 80+ Receiving Yards
- Joe Burrow 3+ Passing Touchdowns
Both sides are fresh off the win and honestly, I’m leaning towards Miami here.
CJ Stroud has looked incredibly shaky this season and if Miami come out firing on all cylinders, which they have kind of teased these last few weeks. I’m not sure if they will be able to keep up.
Miami look value here for me.
My Bets
- Miami Dolphins H2H @ $2.25
- Tua Tagovailoa 275+ Passing Yards
- De’Von Achane Anytime Touchdown Scorer
It’s a nine game win streak for Philly but they only just scraped home against the Panthers, there’s a bit of infighting with Hurts & AJ Brown and they’re up against a very solid defensive outfit in Pittsburgh.
Could we see the streak end here?
I’m kind of leaning towards yes, the Steelers certainly don’t have the same quality of offensive weapons Philly do but we learnt last week that they can be shut down and a defence like Pittsburgh’s just might do it.
Steelers to cover.
My Bets
- Pittsburgh Steelers +5 @ $1.90
- Najee Harris 60+ Rushing Yards
- Pat Freiermuth Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Super Bowl preview?
Maaaaaaaaybe.
Buffalo are short underdogs here at $2.20 but they just let the Rams drop 40 on them, I’m not sure if they’ll be able to contain the Lions, even if Josh Allen is playing at an MVP calibre level.
The Lions are just far too good and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Sonic and Knuckles AKA Gibbs and Montgomery run all over them.
My Bets
- Detroit Lions -2.5 @ $1.90
- Jahmyr Gibbs 60+ Rushing Yards
- David Montgomery Anytime Touchdown
We could be set here for a proper shootout.
Baker and the boys looked great last week in their game against the Raiders and could be poised for another big one against a Chargers team that probably should’ve beaten the Chiefs.
Jeez we’ve got some good games this week.
I don’t mind the Buccs to cover here, especially if they build on last weeks win.
My Bets
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2 @ $1.87
- Baker Mayfield 250+ Passing Yards
- Justin Herbert 250+ Passing Yards
- Mike Evans Anytime Touchdown Scorer
We had a week off from Bo Nix last week and I miss him.
The Broncos have been so fun to watch this year and they draw a great matchup this week against a Colts side that is as hot and cold as a microwave dinner.
A fresh Denver against this swiss cheese Colts team? Give me the Broncs line.
My Bets
- Denver Broncos -4 @ $1.90
- Bo Nix 225+ Passing Yards
- Courtland Sutton Anytime Touchdown
It’s three big fat L’s on the trot for both these teams, someone has to win it and I’m leaning towards…….
The Patriots at the line.
The Pats have been bloody close in their recent fixtures and I just don’t know how the Cards have gone so far backwards. At one point this year they were leading the NFC West and looked poised for a deep play off run.
One would argue that this is the perfect game for Arizona to come back in to form but I’ve like what Drake Maye and co have shown us recently.
My Bets
- New England Patriots +5.5 @ $1.90
- Drake Maye 200+ Passing Yards
- Rhamondre Stevenson Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Hawk tuah!
I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me.
What I do know however is that this should be a bloody good MNF game.
The 9-4 Packers take on the 8-4 Seahawks and while I am expecting a bit of tussle from these NFC sides, I lean towards the Packers at the line.
Josh Jacobs has just been so big for GB lately and he’s the difference maker here for me in this one.
My Bets
- Green Bay Packers -3 @ $1.90
- Josh Jacobs 60+ Rushing Yards
- Josh Jacobs Anytime Touchdown Scorer
It’s the Vikings turn to beat up on Chicago this weeks.
It’s not been the year many expected from the Bears, they clearly still have some big holes in that team to fix but I don’t think it’s all doom and gloom.
What I do think however is that Minnesota are very very good and will make Chicago suffer even more than they already have this year.
Somebody help my boy Caleb out PLEASE
My Bets
- Minnesota Vikings -7 @ $1.94
- Justin Jefferson 80+ Receiving Yards
- Justin Jefferson Anytime Touchdown Scorer
You don’t need to watch this game, trust me.
A very bad team will host a moderately bad team to wrap us up this week.
It feels like a millennium since Kirk Cousins threw his last TD and if he doesn’t get off to a hot start, we might see a little bit of Michael Penix.
ATL are the better team but I have no confidence on any side of the ball here.
Somebody has to win.
My Bets
- Atlanta Falcons H2H @ $1.42
- Bijan Robinson 60+ Rushing Yards
- Bijan Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer
God damn, another week of 4/5.
We can get all five again, I know it in my heart of hearts
