The Good, The Bad and The Fantasy – NFL Week 4 2024 Recap

Born too late to explore the earth, born too early to explore the galaxy, born just in time to see Sam Darnold absolutely cook with the Vikings.

We’ve got a month of football under our belts now, has it gone exactly how you expected? Don’t lie.

There’s plenty to discuss this week, let’s dive into my week 4 recap!

NFL WEEK 4 TIER LIST

The Good

Derrick Henry

King Henry, in case you were wondering is still him.

First play off scrimmage in primetime yesterday and he broke off an 87 yard run straight to the casa.

A lot of people (including myself) said that he was too old to hang with the big dogs but Derrick does what Derrick wants and last night that looked like 199 yards and two TDs… that would’ve been three if he didn’t fumble on the goal line too.

The Baltimore Ravens offense works through Derrick know, put your feet up WRs and watch one of the last proper RB bell cows go to work.

Ja’Marr Chase

Seems like Ja’Marr’s doing all his best work off the field this year.

Pretty hectic question to ask the Bengals WR after pulling of a 63 yard TD but Chase handled it well (almost like he wasn’t actually oiled up).

Are the Bengals back on track?

They’ve got a long way to go.

Sam Darnold

Another week of me glazing the Vikings QB.

Last time I said he was a good shout for Comeback Player of the Year.

Now the mfer is making a case for MVP.

The Vikings are going to have some serious headaches at the QB position if Darnold continues to put up numbers like this.

Joe Flacco

Mans was on the couch 12 months ago watching the NFL as a fan and since then he’s guided the Browns to the playoffs last season and then stepped in halfway through this Colts v Steelers game and torched arguably the best defence in the league through the first three games of this season.

Flacco is inevitable.

Malik Nabers

Nabers has made watching the Giants fun again but my god boys. Maybe ease off on force feeding him as much as you are.

Go back and watch the fourth quarter of that TNF game, Nabers takes longer and longer to get up after every reception because the man was justifiably exhausted.

And then he KO’s himself trying to keep NY in the game.

He’s breaking rookie records left, right and centre but the Giants need to do a better job of looking after him otherwise they will be back to irrelevancy as quickly as they rose to be a frisky and fun team to watch.

Jayden Daniels

The Commanders are finally worthwhile to watch.

Daniels for OROY?

This Photo Of George Kittle

Hell yeah.

The Bad

This specific play from Patrick Mahomes

Watching this play live almost caused me to delete the Dynasty league I’m in where I own Rashee Rice.

Has this ever happened before?

Dog shit INT by the best player in the league, his WR1 then hustles to force a fumble but then gets his ACL decimated by his on quarterback trying to recover it.

Rice was on track to have potentially an Offensive Player of the Year level worthy season and one bad throw from Mahomes has now ended his season.

The injury gods have not been merciful this season and we have lost another superstar.

Philadelphia Eagles

Injuries have not been kind to Philly this year but they certainly have not been helped by Jalen Hurts lack of production.

Saquon can’t run you to victory every week.

The Fantasy

Nico Collins is looking like a league winner

Chicago might’ve figured out how to use Swift

Xavier Worthy about to have the season Rice was promised

Russell Wilson may never see the field again
