Three weeks of football down, a heap more to go!
With three games to go off, we can finally start to map a few trends and get a feeling for how each team is likely to play for the majority of the season.
The Dolphins look incredible, the Eagles are still impossible to stop and OMG DID YOU HEAR THAT TAYLOR SWIFT WENT TO THE CHIEFS GAME?!?!?!
The show goes on this week and once again we have some bloody good match ups.
I’ve run my eyes over each market, simulated each game in Madden and checked the waiver wire for fantasy studs.
Here is my preview of Week 4 of the NFL.
Both 2-1 sides will battle it out for NFC North supremacy on TNF in a matchup that should not disappoint.
Dan Campbell and the Lions head to Lambeau as $1.75 favourites after a 20-6 thrashing of the Atlanta Falcons.
Don’t sleep on Jordan Love and the Packers though, they were down 0-17 early in Week 3 and clawed their way back to an 18-17 win over the Saints and there is a strong chance that they will get Aaron Jones and Christian Watson back this week.
Jared Goff is averaging 273 Pass Yards a game this year against a defence ranked 10th best in the league for least pass yards allowed (219 Per Game). His yardage line is set at 255.5 which is a market I am staying away from.
That being said, give me Sam LaPorta for over 42.5 Receiving Yards and Jahmyr Gibbs 60+ Rushing. These two rookies have been just what the Lions O has needed and I like them to get it done in Prime Time.
Amon-Ra St Brown is my anytime touchdown scorer pick. He got it done in the kickoff game for Detroit and I like him to do it again here.
SGM $6.57
- Detroit Lions -1.5 @ $1.87
- Jahmyr Gibbs 60+ Rushing Yards @ $1.82
- Sam LaPorta Over 42.5 Receiving Yards @ $1.88
Anytime Touchdown Tips
- Amon-Ra St Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer @ $2.25
- Josh Reynolds Anytime Touchdown Scorer @ $4.40
Etienne and Bijan owners beware, the Jags v Falcons game is off to London and will kick off slightly earlier than normal!
The London Jaguars will once again head across the pond and despite a slow start to the year, should get it done over a Falcons side that could only score two field goals last week.
Trevor Lawrence needs to be better than he was last week, it’s as simple as that and I like him to bounce back in a big way this week.
Kyle Pitts score his first ever touchdown in London as well.
He only has three in his career but is criminally under used, he might be worth a little look in this game.
For me, it’s the Jags -3, Calvin Ridley for 100+ receiving yards.
My Bets
- Jacksonville Jaguars -3 @ $1.90
- Calvin Ridley Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Calvin Ridley 80+ Receiving Yards
- Bijan Robinson 80+ Rushing Yards
- Kyle Pitts Anytime Touchdown Scorer (Hesitantly)
The 3-0 Philly Eagles will look to further improve their reign on the NFC East when they take on the Commies on Monday morning.
The Eagles “Tush Push” play is literally impossible to stop and we have been profiting off it with Jalen Hurts Anytime TD bets.
The price for Hurts gets shorter and shorter every week but I will be having a crack once again here.
The Commanders have allowed 128.66 rush yards per game this year and now have to try and defend D’Andre Swift who racked up 130 yards himself on the ground last week.
Given that every time I back either AJ Brown or Devonta Smith, the other one goes off.
I will look towards the only Swift we should be talking about when it comes to NFL
My Bets
- Philadelphia Eagle 14+ @ $2.35
- D’Andre Swift 70+ Rushing Yards
- Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The Buccaneers struggled against Philly last week but can you blame them?
They are $2.40 underdogs against a New Orleans side who are without Derrick Carr and I think they could be the play in this NFC South showdown.
The Saints will get Alvin Kamara back from suspension but I really like what I’ve seen from Baker and the Bucs this year so far.
I’m with a big day on the ground for Kamara and a Bucs upset
My Bets
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers H2H @ $2.40
- Alvin Kamara 60+ Rushing Yards
- Mike Evans Anytime TD Scorer
This is game of the week.
The Buffalo Bills will host the most exciting team in football at the moment, the Miami Dolphins.
Miami are coming off what will probably be their best game for quite some time and are $2.25 underdogs against a Buffalo side that has started trending in the right direction.
I like Miami in this matchup, they just scored 70 points in a game and I thought this game would be even money.
I’m staying away from a H2H bet in this game. I will be taking the points over as well as overs for James Cook, De’von Achane, Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs
My Bets
- Over 54 Points @ $1.90
- James Cook 60+ Rushing Yards
- Stefon Diggs 80+ Receiving Yards
- De’von Achance 60+ Rushing Yards
- Tyreek Hill 80+ Receiving Yards
Garbage, garbage game.
Stay away from this, don’t bet on this, don’t watch this.
Pretend it didn’t happen.
My Bets (If you have to have one)
- Under 46 Points @ $1.90
The Bengals will look to continue to build on their strong showing against the Rams last week.
They weren’t perfect but Joe Burrow loves starting the season 0-2.
They travel to Tennessee who look miserable this year. I’m willing to say that their win over the Chargers was an anomaly.
I think the Bengals cover here and we see the real Bengals once again.
My Bets
- Bengals 14+ @ $5.60
- Joe Burrow 250+ Pass Yards
- Ja’Marr Chase 80+ Receiving Yards
- Ja’Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The Colts look like they will get Anthony Richardson back from concussion protocol, combine that with the 30+ carries they gave Zack Moss last week and we have what looks like an unstoppable run game.
The Colts are ranked 26th for pass yards allowed and both sides haven’t really been able to stop the points this year.
A play on the overs is what I’m leaning towards here.
Puka to ball out once again too.
My Bets
- Over 47 Points @ $1.90
- Puka Nacua 70+ Receiving Yards
- Zack Moss 80+ Rushing Yards
As predicted, the AFC North is the most competitive division in football, a win for either of these sides could see them take the top spot in Week 4
The Browns are $1.65 favourites but I’m with the Ravens at $2.25.
Lamar looked incredible last week, 200 pass yards, 100 rushing and I really think this is a favourable matchup for the Ravens this week.
I’m going to keep backing Zay Flowers for yardage, he looks like the real deal and the Deshaun Watson/ Amari Cooper connection looks great again this year, that is where my money is.
My Bets
- Ravens H2H @ $2.25
- Zay Flowers 60+ Receiving Yards
- Amari Cooper 60+ Receiving Yards
Bryce Young is back from his ankle injury and if his wide receivers can’t get open against this awful Vikings defence, then they truly have no hope.
Cousins and Jefferson are fighting for their life in this team and everyone is letting them down.
I think they get it done against this struggling Panthers outfit but we really need to see more from them as well.
The Panthers looked slightly improved last week, hopefully they’ve ironed out a few kinks and can look after their young QB here.
My Bets
- Vikings -4 @ $1.90
- Kirk Cousins 250+ Passing Yards
- Justin Jefferson 100+ Receiving Yards
The top of the AFC North Steelers will take on a Texans side that suddenly has a very scary passing offense.
Stroud has looked great so far and the Steelers have allowed 259.66 pass yards per game this year, Stroud could really open them up in a big way.
The Steelers have allowed at least 18 points in every game this year, over 42.5 points looks great here. I want big Stroud yards too.
My Bets
- Over 42.5 Points @ $1.90
- CJ Stroud 300+ Pass Yards
- George Pickens 60+ Receiving Yards
I think unlucky is the way to describe Justin Herbert this year.
He has been a machine so far in 2023. 3rd in pass yards, 4th in touchdowns and what do the Chargers have to show for it? A 1-2 record.
They are heavy favourites against Vegas and I’m backing them to win in a big way.
Austin Ekeler should be back and despite losing Mike Williams, this offense is cooking.
My Bets
- Chargers 14+ @ $3.05
- Justin Herbert 300+ Passing Yards
- Justin Herbert 3+ Passing Touchdowns
The second I said the Cowboys had the best defence in the league, they went and lost to the Cardinals.
I don’t think they will stay down for long and putting pressure on Mac Jones can often lead to some pretty funky scorelines.
Everytime I back the Patriots to lose big, the opposite happens.
I’m just going to stick with the Cowboys to cover and Tony Pollard to run all over them.
My Bets
- Cowboys -6.5 @ $1.90
- Tony Pollard Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Tony Pollard 60+ Rushing Yards
This is going to be ugly and it’s honestly going to be so bad I’m hesitant to bet on it.
This is quite the mismatch and I’m worried that the 49ers may get out to an early lead and put the back ups in.
CMC has scored a touchdown in 12 straight games, I like him for 70 yards and a score but outside of that. I’m staying away from player markets.
My Bets
- 49ers 14+ @ $1.80
- Christian McCaffrey Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Christian McCaffrey 70+ Rushing Yards
The Jets need to figure it out, and fast.
This is not the team they expected to be four weeks into the season and it may go from bad to worse against Mahomes and the Chiefs in primetime.
I can’t back Breece Hall or Garrett Wilson comfortably until I see more from the Jets so I will be taking the Chiefs 14+ and Mahomes heavy in this game.
My Bets
- Chiefs 14+ @ $2.40
- Patrick Mahomes 275+ Yards
- Patrick Mahomes 3+ Passing Touchdowns
To finish Week 4 we have the Giants hosting the Seahawks on MNF.
The Giants are relatively short at $1.90 and I think that has everything to do with Saquon Barkley hopefully returning from his ankle sprain but I don’t think he’s enough to be a difference maker in this matchup.
Seattle head to head is where I’m leaning but I will be taking plays on Saquon if he does indeed suit up.
Seattle’s offense is far too good and I think they will do naughty things to the Giants.
My Bets
- Seattle H2H @ $1.90
- Saquon Barkley 60+ Rushing Yards (If he plays)
- Ken Walker Anytime Touchdown
- DK Metcalf 80+ Receiving Yards
Last week we hit!
Our first win for Fogs’ Fantasy Team and honestly it never looked like missing.
You best believe we’re going to go for two in a row, I’ve studied the match ups fairly closely this week to give you punters another fantasy team

- Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes Over 250+ Passing Yards ✓
- Runningback: Tony Pollard 60+ Rushing Yards ✓
