Run over 1,200 metres every March, the Magic Night Stakes is a Group 3 race, held during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival at Rosehill Gardens on Coolmore Classic Day.
Open only to two-year-old fillies, the event offers $250,000 in prize money plus a ballot free ride into the coveted Group 1 $5 million Golden Slipper Stakes to the winning filly.
Kiamichi (2019) was the last filly to complete the Magic Night Stakes – Golden Slipper double and the first since Bint Marscay (1993).
