The first Golden Gift winner was class filly Yankee Rose in 2015. She went on to frank the Golden Gift form with a second in the next year’s Golden Slipper results. Yankee Rose also won the 2016 Group 1 Inglis Sires’ (1400m) and place third to heroic mare Winx in that year’s Cox Plate.
