CATONAHOTINROOF (2) is a six-start maiden who looks ready to win now for Graheme Begg.
The mare to Too Darn Hot ran a couple of placings at Wyong and Newcastle last time in work and has trialled up a treat ahead of her return.
She’s untried over the synthetic but looks forward enough to handle 1200m fresh with the blinkers on for the first time.

SALUDAR (8) went around as the favourite two weeks ago over 1200m and duly saluted by 3.5 lengths on his first look at the synthetic.
Jordan Childs gave him a peach of a steer up on the speed, and from a wide gate this time, the pair should look to roll forward early and establish a similar tempo with the longer distance suiting.

SHE’S BUOYANT (12) was impressive winning her maiden by more than a length at Geelong earlier in April.
The daughter to All Too Hard was quickly put away in time for the spring and looks ready to run a big race first-up, having won her recent trial here on the synthetic.
She’s another one drawn to push forward and test her luck up on the speed, and based on everything we’ve seen, she’ll be hard to beat.

FACE THE WILD (12) saw big support before tackling the same track/trip here two weeks ago, and boy did she give punters a thrill when winning by three-quarters of a length.
She was back sharply in grade after being tested at Caulfield first-up, and now presents fitter for two runs back with plenty of confidence on her side.

| Third-up today. Resuming raced on the pace before fading 10th of 12 at Caulfield on June 27 over 1000m, slow going 3.5 len behind Lucky Brook with 55.5kg at $4.80. Second-up favourite; raced right near the speed and boxed on; won by 0.8 len at this track on August 6 over 1000m defeating Isle Of Mona carrying 55kg at $1.55. Should go on with things. | |||
