COLLECTIONNEUR (12) is up sharply in trip but she still showed enough on debut to suggest she can handle it.
The daughter to I Am Invincible blew the start upon settling midfield, making up decent ground in the run home though to grab third after moving closer approaching the bend.
She’ll likely look to settle further forward this time from wider out and she appears to be in the right hands under Harry Coffey.

| At debut, 3rd of 7 in a Mdn-Sw at this track on August 11 over 1200m, 3 len behind In’kantosstar with 55kg at $9. Plenty of upside and rates a strong chance. | |||
NOBLE STYLE (4) has the inside gate working in her favour, which could count for a lot in an open sprint race.
She was strong all the way through the line two back at Pakenham on the synthetic, finishing only 2.6 lengths off in much tougher company.
Not a lot went right at Murtoa last time out, but back in grade and well weighted thanks to the claim, she’s a serious bounce back candidate.

| Returns from a 31-day let-up. Last start got back early 6th of 8 in a Bm62 at Murtoa on July 25 over 1200m, on a slow track; 9 len behind Celestial Zara with 53.5kg at $7. The race before that 6th of 12 in a Bm56 at Pakenham Synthetic on July 6 over 1200m, 2.5 len behind You Never Can Tell carrying 60kg at $13. Drawn well and finds a winnable race. | |||
BLACKLIP (7) was the beaten favourite last time out here over further, but this does look an appealing race coming back in trip.
The son to Blue Point has found it tough to win across 11 career starts, but there was a lot to like about his effort two back when finishing half a length third to Isdell.
The inside gate is key to his chances and it helps knowing Declan Bates has some experience in the saddle.

| Comes here off a 49-day let-up. Most recently sat on the speed and boxed on steadily 5th of 8 in a Bm56 at this track on July 7 over 1400m, 4.5 len behind Zetheros carrying 61kg at $2.60. The race before that made some head-way from midfield; 3rd of 12 in a Bm56 at this track on June 21 over 1400m, 0.5 len behind Isdell carrying 61kg at $4.20. Drawn well and has claims | |||
STARBURST (5) is a lightly-raced mare with a good amount of upside for the McEvoy Team.
She put paid to her rivals over 100m further last time out by nearly two lengths, shedding the maiden tag in fine style.
This doesn’t look much tougher overall and the 2kg claim sees her get in nicely at the weights.
With plenty of early speed, look for her to settle forward early and take catching.

| Recent form sound. Last start favourite; won by 1.75 len at this track on August 6 over 1100m defeating Fast ‘N’ Inzaine carrying 60.5kg at $2.10. Before that held ground to the line 2nd of 12 in a Bm56 at this track on July 27 over 1000m, neck behind Rosangela with 58.5kg at $4. Will be very hard to run down again. | |||
