That run should bring him on, and the Archibald-trained colt looks well placed staying at the same trip.
He had shown ability on debut at Eagle Farm in a stronger race and should find this more suitable.
With added fitness and a positive racing pattern, he gets a great chance to break through.

He should take benefit from that first-up run and will appreciate the rise in distance.

With added fitness and the extra trip in his favour, he looks well placed to improve.

Prior to that, the Archibald-trained gelding bolted in over the same track and trip, winning by 5.1 lengths in maiden grade.
He has clearly turned the corner this preparation and is building a strong record at the mile.
With confidence from those wins and a suitable setup, he can go on with it again.
