The Grahame Begg-trained filly has shown enough ability to suggest a maiden like this is within reach.

Drawn well, she maps to get every chance fresh.

OUR JUSTIFY (9) went under narrowly at Seymour last start when second beaten 0.75 lengths as favourite on heavy ground, with the winner Zourain possibly advantaged by where he travelled.

The run prior when third at Caulfield has since stacked up well, with strong late splits and Custom, who was a head in front of her in second, going on to win impressively.

The Jerome Hunter-trained filly has been thereabouts all preparation and this looks a suitable assignment.

If she can stay close enough before straightening, she has the finish to be in the finish.

SCOOBARTIE (2) is flying with back-to-back wins, latest at Seymour when overcoming a wide gate and proving too strong by 2.25 lengths.

Prior to that, the Jarrod Robinson-trained gelding broke through impressively over this course and distance, winning by 3 lengths after travelling well throughout.

He is clearly in great order and has the confidence of winning form.

The outside barrier makes things tricky again, but he overcame it last start and can do so once more.

CRYPT (3) did the job for us at Geelong last start, getting there late to win by a lip over 1243m and put a good gap on the rest.

Prior to that, he was good at Sale when second beaten 1.5 lengths, attacking the line strongly from back in the field.

The Danny O’Brien-trained gelding is building nicely this preparation and should strip fitter again.

He’ll likely settle back, but if the race sets up for him, he has the turn of foot to be charging late again.
