We have a month of football officially under our belts and if you thought the season would start the way it has you are a flat out liar.
We’ve seen a five year high to skill player injuries and teams like the Buccaneers and the Vikings are kind of emerging as Super Bowl calibre teams.
The bye weeks are here and as always I’ve got you covered for tips.
Here’s where I’ve landed for each game.
Tampa are still not getting the credit they deserve from the bookies and I think we can make some money off them this week.
Baker Mayfield and the Buccs are 3-1 and outside of that Broncos game, I reckon they’ve been flawless this season.
Have the Falcons showed flashes as well? Yes but in a head to head matchup like we’ve got on TNF, I’m 100% with Tampa Here
My Bets ($6.57 Multi)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers H2H @ $2.02
- Mike Evans 60+ Receiving Yards @ $1.78
- Bucky Irving Anytime Touchdown @ $2.45
The London games begin and our first one this season is Sam Darnold and the Vikings taking on a Jets side that seriously struggled to do anything against the Broncos last week.
I’m all in on the Vikings this year, the Sam Darnold resurgecne brings me so much joy and while the Jets have some fun pieces to use on Madden.
There is nothing about them at the moment that gives me confidence that they can stop this Minnesota team.
I’m on the Vikings side of this 2.5 point line. Does JJettas score for the 5th week in a row aswell? I think we ride the hot hand.
My Bets
- Minnesota Vikings -2.5 @ $1.90
- Aaron Jones 60+ Rushing Yards
- Justin Jefferson Anytime Touchdown Scorer
In my football watching lifetime, the Commanders are a team that I have actively avoided watching.
Now all of a sudden, they are a side that I look forward to each week.
Daniels is torching teams and while I think he has to come back down to earth at somepoint, I don’t think that happens this week against the Browns.
I hate Cleveland this year and I think the young LSU QB puts on another clinic here.
He has more scoring drives than incomplete passes this season, which is insane.
My Bets
- Washington Commanders -3.5 @ $1.94
- Terry McLaurin Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Terry McLaurin 75+ Receiving Yards
Buffalo came crashing back to earth last week against the Ravens, they couldn’t get anything done but the bookies have them as favourites here against the Texans and I’m not quite sure they’ve got that right.
There should be more yards here than you can poke a stick at and I kind of think Houston are the better team here.
Stroud has the Texans 3-1 and I think they have enough fire power to knock of Buffalo.
My Bets
- Houston Texans H2H @ $1.98
- CJ Stroud 275+ Passing Yards
- Nico Collins Over 75+ Receiving Yards
- Joe Mixon Anytime TD Scorer
The Jaguars haven’t won in a long time and they have to turn it around at some point right?
Surely this is the week, they have far too many pieces not to be delivering results and with Anthony Richardson being banged up, so this is the week the current holders of the first overall pick turn things around.
Brian Thomas Jr needs to see more ball and if the Jags do they, the win.
My Bets
- Jacksonville Jaguars H2H @ $1.65
- Brian Thomas Jr 60+ Receiving Yards
- Travis Etienne Anytime Touchdown
It’s a deadset shame this game is on the 3am Aus time slot, because I think you’ll struggle to find a better matchup this week.
The Bengals need to go on a serious winning streak to keep their season alive and I’m not sure if the Ravens will let them here this week.
Derrick Henry to the surprise of no one is putting this Ravens team on his back but it’s coming at the cost of their receivers like Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews.
Punting on Ravens receivers has been a nightmare but it’s been pretty easy backing Henry to produce.
I like the Ravens to cover here and that should come on the back of King Henry once again.
My Bets
- Baltimore Ravens -2.5 @ $1.87
- Derrick Henry 80+ Rushing Yards
- Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown
I want to spend no time thinking about this game and you shouldn’t either.
Patriots to win.
Let’s move on.
My Bets
- New England Patriots H2H @ $1.83
- Rhamondre Stevenson Anytime Touchdown
- Rhamondre Stevenson 60+ Rushing Yards
The Bears are absolutley going to torch the Panthers this week.
From a technique perspective, Caleb Williams has improved week on week this season and while he hasn’t put up the stats that Jayden Daniels has just yet, we could be poised for a proper breakout game here.
The Bears have slowly improved in a lot of areas every week and this is the game they truly put it all together.
Caleb for shitloads this week.
My Bets
- Chicago Bears 14+ @ $3.60
- Caleb Williams 275+ Passing Yards
- Caleb Williams 2+ Touchdown Passes
The Cards aren’t quite hitting the way I thought they would to start the season and I don’t think it’s going to get any easier against the 49ers this week.
The 9ers still know how to turn it on when they want to and even though the Kyler/Marv connection is very fun to watch.
It is unlikely that the Cardinals put up much of a fight this week.
My Bets
- San Francisco 49ers -7.5 @ $1.94
- Jordan Mason 75+ Rushing Yards
- Jordan Mason Anytime Touchdown
Another game I really have no interest in this week, the Broncos don’t look completley useless but the Raiders are starting to implode.
It looks like Davantae Adams has played his final game as a Raider, he won’t suit up this week and should get traded in the next week or so (with his hamstring likely to heal around the time of the deal being finalised).
I’m with Denver to cover here and Davantae would be hoping for it too.
My Bets
- Denver Broncos -3 @ $1.94
- Courtland Sutton Anytime Touchdown
The Packers forgot to play in the first half last weeks game and Jordan Love’s heroics wasn’t enough to overcome the Vikings who did in fact actually start that game.
It’s a much friendlier matchup this week and I’m convinced that the Packers absolutely shred the Rams here.
The Packers love to air the ball out and that game plan should torch the Rams this week.
My Bets
- Green Bay Packers -3 @ $1.87
- Jordan Love 275+ Passing Yards
- Jayden Reed 75+ Receiving Yards
- Jayden Reed Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The Giants have pieces all over the park that can win them games but they are genuinely hamstrung by Daniel Jones.
This week they’re up against a Seattle outfit that looks insanely tough to beat.
Geno and the boys have been thoroughly exciting to watch so far this season and that continues this week against NY.
My Bets
- Seattle Seahawks -6 @ $1.88
- DK Metcalf 75+ Receiving Yards
- DK Metcalf Anytime Touchdown Scorer
This should be a pretty good game.
Pittsburgh defence has been unstoppable for 75% of this season and I think we’re yet to see Dallas play to their full potential this season but we all know what they’re capable of.
Dallas are $2.10 underdogs here and I’m leaning towards a play on them as the Steelers offer enough offensively, Justin Fields can’t have a stat line like he did last week, every week.
My Bets
- Dallas Cowboys H2H @ $2.70
- Rico Dowdle 60+ Rushing Yards
- Rico Dowdle Anytime Touchdown
No Rashee Rice, no Isaiah Pacheco, no Hollywood Brown and Travis Kelce being too interested in starring in commercial rather than catching footballs.
The Chiefs have a proper test this week, not with their opposition though, the Saints are quite shit.
Rather with themselves.
KC are $1.42 favourites, do they have enough depth to get the win here?
I’m leaning towards the Saints to cover.
My Bets
- New Orleans Saints +5.5 @ $1.90
- Alvin Kamara 60+ Rushing Yards
- Alvin Kamara Anytime Touchdown
Just an absolute mess last week and I apologise punters. I think we went 1/5. We go again. Here’s where I’m thinking this week.

- Runningback: Breece Hall 60+ Rushing Yards X
- Runningback: Saquon Barkley 60+ Rushing Yards ✓
- Wide Receiver: Nico Collins 60+ Receiving Yards ✓
- Wide Receiver: Rashee Rice 60+ Receiving Yards XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Week 5’s Fantasy team looks like this:

- Runningback: Derrick Henry 60+ Rushing Yards

- Wide Receiver: Ja’Marr Chase 60+ Receiving Yards
