LeBron James has conquered all there is to conquer on an NBA court, and it turns out he’s still undefeated on Twitter, too.
After the Lakers spent up big on free agent acquisitions like Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook during the week, the four-time MVP fired off a vicious tweet aimed at those deeming the Lakers too old to reclaim the championship.

Done making full use of his 280 characters, LeBron obviously had second thoughts as he deleted the tweet not long after – saving himself from a barrage of Laker-haters waiting and ready to fire.
For those among us that are long-time fans of ‘The King’, this kind of Twitter behavior won’t come as a surprise.
Below, you’ll find a brief history of Lebron James’ half-baked tweets that have gone down in #NBATwitter folklore as some of the best.
2010 – The Decision
LeBron finally made his mind up in 2010 when he sat down for an hour-long interview with ESPN to announce his “decision” to abandon the Cavs in favour of the sunny beaches in Miami.
The then two-time MVP was relatively quiet in the weeks following, but he finally took to the socials a month later to state he’s been jotting down the names of his haters with this memorable tweet:
For fans of old-school wrestling, be sure to check out the reply from The Iron Sheik four years later.
2010 – The One That Didn’t Age Well
The resurgence of Michael Vick was one of the biggest storylines in 2010 as the speedy, left-handed quarterback won the Comeback Player of the Year Award following a two-year suspension due to dogfighting charges.
Vick lit up the field in 12 starts with the Eagles, throwing for over 3,000 yards and 21 touchdowns – but LeBron decided to take it a step further by declaring Vick for presidency.
As you can imagine, the replies got ugly in a hurry.
2012 – The Chill Weekend
If you’ve ever looked back at some of your old Facebook memories, you can probably relate to how cringe this one is.
Heeeeeere’s Bronny!
2013 – The Time He Was a Cowboys Fan
If you didn’t already know, LeBron is probably one of the biggest bandwagon fans going.
Over the last two decades, he’s been a Cowboys fan, a Browns fan, a Yankees fan, an Indians fan… and well, the list goes on.
2016 – The World Series Bet
And in further proof of LeBron’s disloyalty, here he is losing a bet to Dwyane Wade after the Cubs defeated the Indians in the 2016 World Series.
2018 – The One for the White Girls
Who says The King doesn’t have a soft side?
Always one with the universe, some say this is the very moment LeBron wished to win another championship with the Lakers.
2019 – The Famous Hashtag
In case you forgot, LeBron is in fact, in sports.
He reminded us all of this fact in 2019 when he tweeted out his thoughts on the Houston Astros sign-stealing saga, capped off with one of the longest hashtags in social media history.
2020 – Mercury in Gatorade
Zen master ‘Bron graced our screens last year when he tweeted out some positive advice to help us all raise our vibrational frequency.
Either that or his aunty hacked his account.
