A share in $2 million is up for grabs at Randwick on Saturday as a promising field of 2YOs step out in the Inglis Millennium<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s sprint feature looks as wide-open as ever, and that could be said for almost every race on the program – bar the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes<\/a> that sees the return of Ciaron Maher’s speedster Tempted installed at short odds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The track is currently rated a Soft 5 with the chance of a few showers heading into Saturday, and always, all 10 races are under the microscope in our 2026 Inglis Millennium Day Preview! <\/p>\n\n\n

The Freedman-trained mare by American Pharoah flew home to win by a comfortable margin fresh at Beaumont on Boxing Day, then stepping out at Kensington on a slightly wet surface where she came home strongly with a well-timed run for third.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She was seen doing her best work through the line that day and gets in well at the weights here back on top of the ground under Jason Collett. Her form around the mile has been mixed, but she looks ready to peak with two runs under her belt.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ATMOPSHERIC ROCK (3)<\/strong> is an interesting runner going around fourth-up for Danny Williams.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The six-year-old to Your Song ran a much-improved race a fortnight ago over the track and trip,\u00a0missing out\u00a0narrowly on a place after being held up for a run along the rail.\u00a0He\u2019s\u00a0a horse that finds it very tough to win, but he\u00a0gets in\u00a0half a kg lighter on Saturday and only needs to hold that form to go on with it.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The unbeaten AUTUMN BREAK (12)<\/strong> also\u00a0warrants\u00a0big attention. This is a big step up for him after racing at country level last year, where he was last seen\u00a0opening up\u00a0a 4.5 length gap at Albury over\u00a01400m. His trial\u00a0win\u00a0a few weeks ago really caught the eye, while the booking of the red-hot Tim Clark\u00a0warrants\u00a0respect.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The daughter to 2018 Golden Gift winner Tassort has trialled up very nicely for her first time facing the starter, finishing in front of Essay and Hidrix at her lastest Warwick Farm heat, the latter coming out and winning the Canonbury Stakes last week by a very handy margin at Rosehill.<\/p>\n

UNLEESHING (9)\u00a0<\/b>looks to be a serious prospect to follow out of Bjorn Baker’s stable.<\/p>\n

The Dundeel four-year-old was good without winning here two back over 1400m, making up some serious late ground in a fillies and mares race behind Miss Spacegirl.<\/p>\n

She improved sharply on that run to score impressively at Kensington back a level last start, putting paid to her rivals by three lengths after finding the front at the 200m mark.<\/p>\n

She’ll love stepping out over slightly further and I don’t think the wide gate hurts her too much as she likes to get back and run on.<\/p>\n

The four-year-old by\u00a0Snitzel\u00a0has put together two solid wins on the bounce dating back to May last year, his second coming two weeks ago when he resumed an all the way winner at Newcastle, putting four lengths between himself and the rest of the field.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Granted, he received all the\u00a0favours\u00a0up on the speed that day, but he\u00a0indicated\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0a solid metro horse who can go on with the job carrying 3kg less this time under Jason Collett.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Matthew Dunn\u2019s filly has made the journey south after tackling a couple of good races over the Queensland Carnival, finishing second to Poster Girl on\u00a0January 10, the\u00a0subsequent\u00a0winner of the\u00a0Fillies and Mares Magic Millions race<\/a>\u00a0seven days later.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The daughter to Written By went around in that same race but never entered calculations from an awful gate, so she\u2019s earned a big of a mulligan given she\u2019s drawn a nice soft gate this time with a good three-week gap between runs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If J-Mac can settle handy and stalk the speed, her late turn of foot should do the rest.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Street Boss filly won the Inglis Banner on debut at Flemington on Champions Day last November,\u00a0largely thanks to\u00a0a peach of a ride from Ethan Brown along the rail to prevail over their final few strides.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her recent trial win on a very wet day at Warwick Farm was equally impressive, improving along the inside to bolt in late and beat home Scintillation and Pearl\u00a0Of\u00a0Dubai, the latter running well in the\u00a0Widden\u00a0Stakes<\/a> last week at Rosehill.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Armed with a slick turn of foot and changeup speed, she\u00a0looks\u00a0a nice each-way play in a typically open race between the juveniles.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u00a0haven\u2019t\u00a0seen the Street Boss filly since she ran second to the world’s best sprinter in The Everest<\/a> last year, but all accounts (plus her recent trial)\u00a0indicate\u00a0she\u2019s\u00a0come back in good order with big autumn plans ahead.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She\u2019s\u00a0already got the TJ Smith Stakes<\/a> in her sights come April, and against a small field like this that lacks depth, it looks like the perfect launching pad to build some confidence.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He went down\u00a0swinging\u00a0two weeks ago over the track\/trip when finishing within half a length of\u00a0Welcometotheshow, a talented horse in his own right.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This race has a bit less to\u00a0it\u00a0terms of quality I feel, and he does get in very nicely at the weights thanks to the 1.5kg claim. With Jack Callan sticking,\u00a0he\u2019ll\u00a0be up on\u00a0the speed\u00a0early again and very tough to run down.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
