Masters week exceeded expectations with the bookies nailing it on the head by making Scottie Scheffler the favourite to win the most prestigious golf event in the world.<\/p>\n

He plants himself in the history books by becoming the second player in US Masters history to win two Green Jackets while ranked Number 1 in the world \u2013 the first being, you guessed it, Tiger Woods.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s same stuff, different day for the Scheff as he\u2019s the clear favourite to take out the RBC Heritage this weekend in South Carolina.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a stacked 69-player field with no cuts and larger prizemoney for the winnings and places in this weekend\u2019s significant event.<\/p>\n

Now credit where credit is due, he played some quality rounds of golf last week.<\/p>\n

Scheff was sitting in a comfortable second place before Bryson DeChambau lost the plot and dropped down the leaderboard.<\/p>\n

A remarkable stat was mentioned on the coverage over the weekend that when Scheff hits a bogey, he has a 48% chance of making a birdie on the next hole, which is just prime Tiger numbers.<\/p>\n

However, he must stop the celebration to focus on the RBC Heritage and some things are playing in my mind with this at the moment.<\/p>\n

A big talking point has been all about his wife being heavily pregnant and she can go into labour, essentially any day now.<\/p>\n

Now Scottie did reveal that he\u2019d leave the tournament, regardless of the place he\u2019s in, to be with his wife, which is selfless without a doubt, but scary for Punters.<\/p>\n

Last year, the number one-ranked golfer in the world finished 11th<\/sup> at the RBC Heritage with 12 under par.<\/p>\n

While Bookies are suggesting he\u2019s the man to beat, I think he\u2019ll be a little hungover for the Masters celebrations and might take a Top 5 finish to be on the safe side.<\/p>\n
