Group 1 racing returns to Caulfield on Saturday and we are set for a stacked edition of the Memsie Stakes!<\/p>\n
Multiple Group 1 winners and some of the season\u2019s brightest prospects are engaged, and the depth of talent in the Memsie Stakes<\/strong><\/a> field has led to it being a wide-open betting race.<\/p>\n You can find my complete 2022 Memsie Stakes Tips<\/strong> below.<\/p>\n Suggested Bets:<\/strong><\/p>\n Snapdancer went to another level and finally realised her Group 1 potential earlier this year, and I think that she can return a winner in the Memsie Stakes.<\/p>\n The Choisir mare has always been a strong and consistent performer, but began her year with an outstanding win at the Magic Millions, and ultimately working towards a bullish victory in the Robert Sangster Stakes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n She was unlucky not to add the Tattersall\u2019s Tiara to her CV after drawing the carpark, she still produced one of, if not the run of the race, and she has had the benefit of a lovely trial in the lead up to her return.<\/p>\n Ethan Brown rides from a good draw and the horse gets into the race well as a mare.<\/p>\n Multiple Group 1 winner Cascadian will make his eagerly awaited return in the Memsie Stakes, and what a story it would be for him to win with the returning Blake Shinn booked to ride!<\/p>\n Cascadian is another horse who rarely returns a poor effort, and he was a strong and consistent performer in some of the autumn\u2019s best races this year, highlighted by an eye-catching win in the All Aged Stakes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n He\u2019s had two trials ahead of his return, the second particularly eye-catching, and the $9 about him in Memsie Stakes betting does look a touch of overs.<\/p>\n Illation is one of the most talked about Spring Carnival prospects and plenty is expected of him this time in.<\/p>\n The So You Think entire has made only three appearances at the races so far, but simply couldn\u2019t have done more \u2013 winning them by a combined 9.5 lengths.<\/p>\n This is the toughest task that he has been set, but he really does look a Group 1 horse in the making, and the booking of Jamie Kah certainly doesn\u2019t hinder his chances this week.<\/p>\n \n
