She began by telling reporters that “We kind of came into it thinking like Hakuna Matata.”

She followed up her second-round win by stating “I chat to my niece over and over; she just tells me you can go to infinity and beyond.”

Finally, a comfortable win over Harriet Dart in the third round was polished with what was easily her best effort yet; “I think for me, sometimes I look at a shot, I play a shot, I think the seaweed is always greener in someone else’s lake.”

Not only are Barty’s on-court performances getting better as Wimbledon progresses, so too are her Disney quotes. It’s probably fair to say that there’s nothing more Australian than taking the mickey, and Barty is the champion that we need on the world stage.

We couldn’t be more about it here at Neds and we’ve opened a market on which Disney movie Barty elects to quote from after her fourth-round match with American Alison Riske (Monday night, Australian time).

Given the sheer popularity of Frozen since its release in 2013, it has been installed as the $2.50 favourite. Perhaps Barty will reference a previous blunder and tell reporters that she ‘just had to let it go.’

Aladdin is both timely and one of the more successful Disney titles of the 90s and looks a bit of value here at $3.50. We can already picture Barty discussing another win and how she’s ‘taking her game to a whole new world’.

Beauty And The Best, Moana and Pocahontas occupy the next few lines of betting, while titles like Cinderella ($26), Mulan ($26) and even A Bug’s Life ($51) have also made the list. Check out the market right here:

If Ash Barty’s current form wasn’t enough to get excited about, the world number 1 is now using her power for a greater good.
