    The Magic Millions Snippets race, formerly known as the Magic Millions Sprint<\/strong>, is one of the $1 million features on the Gold Coast’s $12.5 million Magic Millions Race Day<\/strong> held in Queensland in mid-January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The hugely popular summer racing meet features a bumper 10 Magic Millions races<\/strong> in 2026<\/strong> restricted to graduates of the Magic Millions sales and winners of the new ballot exemption lead-up races held in Brisbane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Magic Millions Snippets is a set weights plus penalties event contested over 1200m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The event was renamed from the Magic Millions Sprint to the Magic Millions Snippets in 2018 in honour of the first Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Snippets (1987).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Plenty of class, future Group 1 winning sprinters have won the Magic Millions Snippets over the years including Straturbo (2015), Temple Of Boom (2011), Viddora (2018), Jonker (2021) who went on to win that spring’s Group 1 Manikato Stakes<\/a> in Melbourne and the classy mare Away Game (2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    King Of Sparta (2023 to 2024) became the latest two-time Magic Millions Snippets winner successfully saluting for the punters as the odds-on favourite both years for the Snowden stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
