    Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott\u2019s now three-time Group 1 winning Frankel entire\u00a0Sir Delius ($6)<\/strong>\u00a0was enormous racing out of his skin to claim a 2.21 length victory in the\u00a02026 Queen Elizabeth Stakes results<\/strong>\u00a0off a peach of a ride by Craig Williams. He defeated Chris Waller\u2019s marvel Lindermann ($31) who came from last into second, while Waller\u2019s previously undefeated queen Autumn Glow ($1.30F) found the 2000m too much running third in her first career loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Run over 2,000 metres at Randwick Racecourse as the feature race on Day 2 of ‘The Championships’ each April, the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes is a lucrative $5 million weight-for-age contest that attracts a quality line-up of gallopers each Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Group 1 Ranvet Stakes <\/a>(2000m) at Rosehill on Golden Slipper Day as well as the Group 1 Tancred Stakes (2400m) are the key lead-ups into the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    UK raider Addeybb (2020) followed by the fellow William Haggas-trained international Dubai Honour (2023) and then Chris Waller’s brilliant mare Via Sistina (2025) are the latest horses to complete the Ranvet Stakes – Queen Elizabeth Stakes double<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2020, Chris Waller’s class stayer Verry Elleegant ran second in both events with a Tancred Stakes victory in between, further franking the form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2021 Addeybb went back-to-back in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes when again beating home Verry Elleegant. The duo also ran one-two but in reverse order in that year’s Ranvet Stakes results, while Verry Elleegant went on to win that year’s Melbourne Cup<\/a> at Flemington in the spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2024 Pride Of Jenni led all-the-way out to up to 30 lengths in the run to make a mess of her rivals with a record-breaking 6.5 length Queen Elizabeth Stakes victory defeating the spring’s subsequent eight-length Cox Plate<\/a> champion Via Sistina!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Via Sistina returned in 2025 to salute as the $2 favourite and equal Winx’s record of seven Group 1 wins in a single season when beating the 2023 Queen Elizabeth winner Dubai Honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Via Sistina boosted the 2025 Queen Elizabeth form in a big way that spring, adding three more Group 1 wins to her record before bowing out \u2014 capped by her brilliant victory in that year\u2019s Cox Plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
