    The Chairman’s Quality is one of the key support races on Doncaster Mile Day, which is officially Day 1 of Sydney’s ‘The Championships’ held at Royal Randwick each April during the autumn carnival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A Group 2 event for stayers, the race takes place over 2600m and serves as a potential final lead-up into the following weekend’s Group 1 Sydney Cup<\/a> (3200m) over the two miles. The Offer (2014) and Circle Of Fire (2024) are the latest gallopers to complete the Chairman’s Quality – Sydney Cup<\/strong> double on the quick back-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2022 Chairman’s Quality runner-up Knights Order improved to win the Sydney Cup next start as well as run third that October in the spring’s Group 1 Caulfield Cup<\/a> (2400m) in Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Contested as a quality handicap event, the Chairman’s Quality has been run and won since 1979 and offers $300,000 in prize money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2025, the Chairman\u2019s Quality form stacked up strongly, with third\u2011placed Valiant King returning in the spring to round out the Caulfield Cup trifecta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
