    Run over 1,400 metres in late February at Caulfield Racecourse, the Mannerism Stakes is a Group 3 race held during the popular Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Open only to mares aged four-years-old and over and contested at set weights plus penalties, the event offers $200,000 in prize money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Taking place on Blue Diamond Stakes Day, the Mannerism Stakes runs alongside events including the Futurity Stakes<\/a> and Oakleigh Plate <\/a>and has been won by many nice types including recent dual champion Silent Sedition (2017, 2018). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sydney’s Group 1 Coolmore Classic<\/a> (1500m) is a popular next-up autumn option for mares out of the Mannerism, and the double was last completed by the Chris Waller-trained Espiona in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
