Racing away on the home straight to put a big gap on her rivals, the up-and-coming three-year-old never looked like losing eventually crossing the line two lengths clear of Alvarinho for her fourth win on the trot and sixth from seven career starts.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Contested over 1200m, the Bow Mistress Trophy is a Group 3 race for fillies and mares held during the popular Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival and now known as the Mystic Journey Stakes <\/strong>in honour of 2019 Australian Guineas<\/a> – All-Star Mile winning filly from Tasmania Mystic Journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The race is run at weight-for-age and was first held in 2006 before gaining Group 3 status for the first time in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fillies and mares in the Bow Mistress Trophy field face off for $150,000 in total prize money on a Sunday in February, now on the same day as the Group 3 Hobart Cup<\/a> (2400m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To date there has been just one dual Bow Mistress Trophy winner with Rebel Bride (2012, 2013). The race’s 2015 champion I Love It however returned to run second in 2016 and third in the 2017 Bow Mistress Trophy results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It serves as a key lead-up to the Group 2 Vamos Stakes<\/a> (1400m) at Launceston later in the month. Geegees Mistruth (2025) was the last filly to complete the Mystic Journey Stakes – Vamos Stakes double<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
