    Run over 1000 metres in late January, the Blue Diamond Preview Fillies is a fantastic starting race for unproven fillies. This race held Group 3 status for over 15 years, before being downgraded to a Listed race in 2005 before being promoted back to Group 3 grade again in 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Most fillies will be using this race as the start of their racing careers, so don\u2019t expect much in the way of a lead up race in the week prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If a horse does well in the Blue Diamond Preview Fillies, you are likely to see them entered into the Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies), which takes place a couple of weeks later. A month later is the coveted Group 1 $2 million Blue Diamond Stakes<\/a> (1200m), one of the biggest races of the Autumn Racing Carnival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Miracles Of Life (2013) and Hayasugi (2024) are the latest Blue Diamond Preview Fillies winner to go on to win the Blue Diamond Stakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
