A key feature at the meeting, formerly held the Saturday after Champions Stakes Day concludes the Melbourne Cup<\/a> Carnival each spring, the Sandown Guineas offers $300,000 in prize money and often attracts graduates that ran in the previous month’s Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m).<\/p>\n

In 2021 the Sandown Guineas and Zipping Classic Day card was moved to late November at Caulfield Racecourse where it remained for the 2022 edition.<\/p>\n
