    Run over 1,100 metres, the Quezette Stakes is a Group 3 race taking place at Caulfield Racecourse. With a $200,000 prize purse, it is open to three-year-old fillies and takes place at set weights with penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Other races on the same program at Caulfield on this date include the PB Lawrence Stakes<\/a>, the Vain Stakes<\/a> and the Regal Roller Stakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The best fillies out of the Quezette Stakes may continue on to run in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes<\/a> (1200m) during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Sunlight (2018) was the last filly to complete the Quezette Stakes – Coolmore Stud Stakes double<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This race gets its name from former champion racehorse Quezette, who established the Australian record for five furlongs in 56.4 seconds. From the races inaugural race until 2012, this race was run as a Listed race. Ever since 2013, it has been run as a Group 3 race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
