Run over 2,000 metres, the Belmont Oaks is a Listed race taking place at Belmont Park Racecourse in late June or early July towards the very end of the Perth Winter Racing Carnival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note, in 2025 the Belmont Oaks ran at Bunbury Racecourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set weights event is open only to three-year-old fillies and offers $125,000 in prize money. It takes place on the same card as the Aquanita Stakes, which is the equivalent race for colts and geldings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best fillies out of the Belmont Oaks are likely to head towards the $125,000 Listed Belmont Classic<\/a> (2200m) a fortnight later. Chantrea (2020) and Ihts Closing Inn (2024) are the latest to complete the Belmont Oaks – Belmont Classic double<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
