    Run over 1,600 metres, the Queen Of The South Stakes is a Group 2 race taking place at Morphettville Racecourse in late April or early May each year as part of the Adelaide Autumn Racing Carnival on Robert Sangster Stakes Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The set weights plus penalties feature offers $250,000 in prize money and is open only to fillies and mares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This race serves as an excellent lead up into the Group 3 RA Lee Stakes (1600m) held at the same track and distance a fortnight later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
