NBA Tips, Wednesday May 29 – Conference Finals

DALLAS MAVERICKS VS MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
Minnesota Timberwolves (+3) & Edwards to Score 25+ Points

The Mavs have a chance to sweep the Timberwolves when the pair meet in Dallas on Tuesday night (local time).

Luka and Kyrie have dominated the first three games of the Western Conference Finals, Doncic averaging 33-8-9, Irving chipping in with 28-4-5.

Despite the dynamic duo’s dominance, the T-Wolves have held their own in all three games, only lets down by their composure in crunch time.

Minnesota are 5-2 on the road in this post season, and will not shy away from the fight here.

I am backing the T-Wolves to cover as underdogs, combined with a massive performance from star guard Anthony Edwards.

NBA Tips, Tuesday May 28 – Conference Finals

INDIANA PACERS VS BOSTON CELTICS
Over 222.5 $1.90

The Pacers look to avoid the sweep when they host the Celtics in Game 4.

The Celts overcame an 18-point deficit in Game 3, eventually pipping the Pacers by three points at the death.

Every game between this pair in the postseason has gone Over the Total Points line with ease.

If Indiana are any chance of winning this fixture, they’ll have to move the ball downhill quickly.

I can see the buckets flowing at both ends of the court here, as such I’m taking the Overs to salute once again.

NBA Tips, Saturday May 23 – Conference Finals

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES VS DALLAS MAVERICKS
Anthony Edwards to Score 30+ Points $2.05

The Timberwolves are out to even the ledger, after going down to the Mavs in a thrilling Game 1.

Both Kyrie and Luka dominated Game 1 in Minnesota, combining for 63 of the Mavericks 108 points.

Anthony Edwards has left his mark in a big way against the Suns and defending champs Denver, and if the T-Wolves are any chance to make the Finals, he’ll need to stand up once again.

I’m backing Ant-man to elevate himself and his side in Game 2, scoring 30+ points.

NBA Tips, Friday May 24 – Conference Finals

BOSTON CELTICS VS INDIANA PACERS
Over 224.5 Total Points $1.90

The Celtics head into Game 2 in Boston leading the series 1-0 thanks to a choking masterclass from Tyrese Halliburton at the death in Game 1.

Although the Celts have one of the best defensive ratings in the league, they have struggled to quell the Pacers scoring, instead opting to fight fire with fire.

Indiana are not afraid to move the ball quickly, they have scoring options in every position on the court and their bench runs deep.

It’s hard to image the Celts losing game 2 at home, but I do think they’ll have to score 120+ to win this one.

NBA Tips, Thursday May 23 – Conference Finals

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES VS DALLAS MAVERICKS
Mavs to Cover & Luka to Score 30+ Points $3.29

The Timberwolves (3rd) play host to the Mavericks (5th) in an unlikely Western Conference Finals matchup.

The T-Wolves blew past Phoenix in the opening round, setting up a blockbuster series against the defending champions Denver, a series they would go on to win in Game 7, in Denver, after being 20 points down at the half!

Alternatively, Dallas were easily the better team in both the series against the Clippers and their 2nd round upset over top of the West, OKC.

This pair meet four times during the regular season, Minnesota winning three matches, the caveat being, Kyrie only played in one of those games and Luka twice, and the only time they played together, Mavs won.

I’m expecting a big performance from the Mavs’ star duo, both who have far more experience on the big stage than Minnesota’s young side.

Taking Mavs to cover as underdogs and Luka to score 30+ points.

NBA Tips, Wednesday May 22 – Conference Finals

BOSTON CELTICS VS INDIANA PACERS
Over 222 Points & Celtics (-10) $3.31

The Celtics welcome the Pacers to TD Garden for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celts finished top of the East, and rolled through a Miami Heat side missing Jimmy Butler in Round 1, before easing past an injury depleted Cavs outfit in Round 2 of the Playoffs.

Similarly, the 6th placed Pacers took care of business against the Giannis-less Bucks in Round 1, before winning a Game 7 against an injury ravished Knick unit at MSG in Round 2.

The Celts and the Pacers met five times during the regular season, with Boston taking the series 3-2.

Three of the pairs five matchups saw over 250 total points scored, which comes as no surprise considering they were 1st and 2nd in offensive rankings.

I’m backing Game 1 to hit the Overs combined with the Celtics to cover at home.

NBA Tips, Friday May 17. Playoffs Round 2

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES VS DENVER NUGGETS
Denver Nuggets (+2.5) $1.90

From 2-0 up, to 3-2 down, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be wondering where it has all gone wrong.

The answer, Nikola Jokic.

The 3x MVP has figured out the Timberwolves defence, and proceeded to pick them to pieces.

The momentum has well and truely shifted to the Nuggets in this series, and I’m backing them to wrap thing up on the road in Game 6.

INDIANA PACERS VS NEW YORK KNICKS
Pacers to Cover $1.90

The Pacers host the Knicks in a must win contest.

Indiana were thoroughly outplayed at MSG in Game 5, with Jalen Brunson dropping 44 points on their head.

The Home side has won every contest in this series so far, and I’m backing the Pacers to bounce back and take this one to a Game 7!

NBA Tips, Thursday May 16. Playoffs Round 2

BOSTON CELTICS VS CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
Cavs (+15.5) $1.90

Down 3-1, the Cavs have their backs well and truely up against the walls when they travel to Boston for Game 5.

Despite being without leading scorer Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland managed to compete with the Celts in Game 4, ultimately losing by 7.

The Celtics haven’t been crash hot at TD Garden during the post season, losing two of five games, while winning four from four on the road.

The Cav’s will be the far more desperate side in this one, and I have them covering the massive +15.5 point line.

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER VS DALLAS MAVERICKS
Dallas Mavericks (+4.5) $1.90

Dallas had an absolute stinker at home in Game 4, missing 11 of their 23 Free Throws, while shoot 40% from the field.

Kyrie only put up 9 points from 11 shots, while Luka was largely inefficient, going 6/20 from the field.

Despite all this, they led for almost the entire game, losing at the death by four points.

I think the experience of Kyrie and Luka will shine through in Game 5, lifting their side to victory, or at least to cover the line.

NBA Tips, Wednesday May 15. Playoffs Round 2

NEW YORK KNICKS VS INDIANA PACERS
New York Knicks (-2) $1.90

Knicks vs the Pacers heads back to MSG with the series tied at 2-2 following a comprehensive 32 point victory to Indiana in Game 3.

Home court has taken out all four games this series, and I’m expecting Madison Square Garden to be as hostile as ever upon the arrival of this young Pacers outfit.

As a silver lining to getting played off the court in Game 4, the Knicks were able to give their starting five a much needed break, with several of their stars playing upwards of 44 minutes across the previous three fixtures.

I’m backing a refreshed Knicks outfit buoyed by an electric MSG crowd to retake the series lead and cover the -2 point line.

DENVER NUGGETS VS MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
Edwards to Score 30+ Points & Denver to Win

The Nuggets ant the T-Wolves head back to Denver with the series all tied up at 2-2.

The home side is yet to claim a win in this series, though the defending champs will feel confident on ratifying that following back-to-back victories with their backs against the wall.

It’s been a case of Anthony Edwards vs the world in this series, with the star guard scoring 40+ points in two of the four games.

I can not see the Nugs losing three straight fixtures at Ball Arena, I have them going up 3-2 in the series, despite another strong scoring performance from the Ant Man.

NBA Tips, Tuesday May 14. Playoffs Round 2

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS VS BOSTON CELTICS
Donovan Mitchell to Score 35+ Points $2.50

The Cavs and the Celts take to the court in Cleveland for Game 4, with Boston currently leading the series 2-1.

The Celtics dominated Game 3, leading from start to finish, with Tatum and Brown combining for 61 points.

On the over end of the court, Donovan Mitchell did most of the heavy lifting, dropping 33 points, Mobley the 2nd biggest contributor for the Cavs with 17.

If the Cavs stand a chance in this series, they need Mitchell to have a massive night here, I’m taking the star guard to do just that, knocking down 35+ points for the third time in his last six playoff fixtures.

DALLAS MAVERICKS VS OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
PJ Washington to Score Over 14.5 $1.78

After getting belted in Game 1, the Dallas Mavs have roared back into this playoff series, wining Games 2 & 3 against the Thunder.

The Mavs enter Game 4 with a home court advantage, where there are 3-1 in the off-season.

Understandably, OKC has focused most of their defensive efforts on stopping Luka and Kyrie, as a result P.J. Washington has been asked to take more shots for Dallas, an opportunity he has taken with both hands.

P.J. has scored 27 & 29 points across the last two games, taking 18 & 23 shots across the trip, a team-high.

I’m backing Washington to hit over his total points line once again.

SAME GAME MULTI $5.50
P.J. Washington Over 14.5 Points
SGA Over 30.5 Points
Mavs to Win
