Borneo Brave will appreciate returning to this grade after chasing home Hope’s Zone in the QGold Blitz Final last start.

The Craig Schmidt-trained dog was excellent three starts back when leading all the way in a slick 18.89 seconds.

Albion Park: Race 7 (9:20pm AEDT)
No. 2 More Than Money

More Than Money can be a little hit and miss at box rise but at his best, he’s electric.

The son of Aston Rupee set a personal best time of 29.63 seconds when winning a heat of the Queensland Emerging Sprinters over this course and distance two starts ago.

If he jumps well or at least on terms with his rivals, he will be strong late and will prove hard to beat.

He’s a speedy dog who can find the front from box 6 and go all the way.

Gosford: Race 7 (8:19pm AEDT)
No. 3 Promises Three

Promises Three can bounce back from a disappointing performance at Goulburn where she was slow out from box 8.

Two starts back the Feral Franky bitch registered a best of the night 19.64 seconds when winning over 330m at Goulburn.

She should be back to peak fitness now and is ready to step back up to this distance which is a trip she won at Wentworth Park over in 29.82 seconds four starts back.

I expect her to get on the arm and prove hard to catch.

Gosford: Race 11 (9:36pm AEDT)

She recorded a personal best of 29.96 seconds when winning three starts ago and is the only dog in the field to run sub 30 seconds.

The squeeze box can be sticky but if she begins as well as she did last start, then she’ll take a power of beating.

Albion Park: Race 10 (10:24pm AEDT)
No. 8 Redback Jack

Redback Jack boasts two wins and four placings from his first six races.

The Brian Baker-trained dog has gotten better with each start and recently won back-to-back races, clocking a personal best over this course and distance of 30.19 seconds two starts ago.

He’s started from box 8 in his past three races so the pink rug will hold no fears and I expect him to cross and lead.

No. 6 Sunny Smiles

Sunny Smiles began well last start in a heat of the QGold Bolt but couldn’t cross from box 7 and ran into trouble to finish fourth.

The Jemma Dailly-trained bitch won her three races prior to that including three starts back when stopping the clock in 22.57 seconds over this course and distance.

This is a much easier affair and she can bounce back with a win.

ALBION PARK: Race 4 (6:18pm)
No. 1 Mini Whisper

Mini Whisper made a flying start to her career when scoring a two length victory over this course and distance.

From box three she shot straight the front and never looked in doubt as she sped away to win comfortably.

With the experience on the board and natural improvement, she looks hard to beat again.

ALBION PARK: Race 5 (6:42pm)
No. 1 Wallaby Bob

Wallaby Bob returns from a break.

He won well here two runs back before a solid effort to finish third at Coonamble.

He’s got a great record over this track and distance, having never missed the frame in five outings and with the rails draw, he looks a top chance.

ALBION PARK: Race 11 (8:51pm)
No. 7 Zippity Zeal

Zippity Zeal is racing in top form and the daughter of Fernando Bale looks well placed to make it back to back victories.

Beaten only narrowly over the 395m here two starts back, she then proved far too good last time over this trip as she accelerated away to post a 5.5 length margin on the line.

If she can repeat that performance, they won’t catch her.

Daily Dogs – Saturday, December 21

THE MEADOWS: Race 4 (6:40pm)
No. 2 Mr Miyagi

Mr Miyagi is looking to make it three on the bounce after recording back to back wins.

He proved far too good over the 420m at Geelong two runs back before securing his first victory over this course and distance.

Only lightly raced, the son of Feral Franky looks very promising and with even luck, will be hard to beat again.

THE MEADOWS: Race 6 (7:21pm)
No. 7 Iconic Jet

Iconic Jet has been in red hot form, putting together three straight wins before a solid effort in the Group 1 Silver Chief Mile.

He looks well placed here dropping back in grade and I think he’ll prove too slick for them.

THE MEADOWS: Race 7 (7:46pm)
No. 4 Where's Poppy

Where’s Poppy comes here off back to back wins and I think she can make it three straight.

She was dominant over 515m at Sandown earlier this month and last time, at her first outing here she was ultra impressive, shooting straight the front and never giving them a look in.

She’s unbeaten in four starts from box four and she’ll give them something to catch.

THE MEADOWS: Race 10 (8:54pm)
No. 8 Explicit

Explicit comes off an explosive win in the Group 1 Melbourne and looks well placed to record his second victory at the elite level.

The son of Bernardo had always promised to win a big race and he was able cross to the lead and never looked in doubt as he accelerated away to score by eight lengths.

He’s got a great record over this track and distance and I think he’ll be too good for them again.

Daily Dogs – Friday, December 20

RICHMOND: Race 3 6:57pm
No. 8 Bad Boy Leroy

Bad Boy Leroy is unbeaten after three starts and the son of Barcia Bale looks well placed to add to that tally.

All of his wis have been over this course and distance and with a combined winning margin of over 18 lengths, he’s a dog with a very bright future.

His latest win saw him stop the clock at 18.01 and if he gets anywhere near that, they won’t be beat him.

RICHMOND: Race 4 (7:20pm)
No. 2 My Three Boys

My Three Boys has returned from a break in top order and will look to make it three straight.

He struck trouble here back in September and was given some time off and he’s proved far too good in two runs back.

He’s two from three over the 401m here and has a great record from box two.

RICHMOND: Race 6 (7:58pm)
No. 4 She's Promising

She’s Promising resumes from a break.

She’s just had the three starts and was very impressive scoring a dominant nine length victory at Gosford at her second outing.

Last start she tried hard but just found one a touch better on the night.

This will be her first go over the 320m but as her name suggests, she looks promising if she runs up to best, should prove hard to beat.

RICHMOND: Race 8 (8:42pm)
No. 5 Classy Shakira

Classy Shakira comes off a strong win over this track and trip.

Travelling just off the leader, the daughter of Feral Franky chased hard and proved too strong over the final part, pulling away and score by a neat length.

She’s put together a very today record over the 520m here and remains unbeaten in three starts out of box 5.

Daily Dogs – Thursday, December 19

ALBION PARK: Race 1 (6:22pm)
No. 5 Prim And Precise

Prim And Precise comes off dominant back to back wins over this track and trip and I think she can make it three straight.

She produced a solid effort to finish third in the Rising Series Final three runs back and back to grade 5 company at her following outing, she proved far too good, accelerating away to score by over five lengths and clocking a new PB.

It was similar story again last time and she’s sure make her presence felt here.

No. 2 Hope's Zone

Hope’s Zone resumed off a break with a solid victory over this course and distance and looks well placed to repeat that performance.

She’s got a terrific record over the 331m here and has won three from four out of box two.

ALBION PARK: Race 3 (7:01pm)
No. 1 Danger Zone

Danger Zone relished the drop back in distance last start to record a commanding six length victory here.

He’d been competing over the 520m trips and was just struggling to find form but now a nine time winner over the 395m, it certainly looks to be his sweet spot.

He has won five from six off the inside draw and will give them something to chase.

best bet
ALBION PARK: Race 5 (7:41pm)
No. 8 Grevillia

Grevillia has won two of his three starts and looks very promising.

A winner on debut at Ipswich he then came here where he stepped out over 395m but got squeezed up early and still finished off strongly into third.

Up in trip last time, the Aston Rupee youngster was in a league of his own as he powered away to score by over fourteen lengths.

He’s the only runner in this field to break 30 seconds for the 525m and he looks very hard to beat.

Daily Dogs – Wednesday, December 18

THE MEADOWS: Race 1 (5:53pm)
No. 1 New Heights

There was a lot to like about the debut performance of New Heights and he’s sure to have taken plenty of benefit from the experience.

Stepping out over the 515m at Sandown, he was making good ground before a slight check approaching the home turn, which cost him a few lengths.

He gets the inside draw here and with even luck, will be hard to beat.

THE MEADOWS: Race 2 (6:18pm)
No. 1 Come Find Me

Come Find Me has been placed in two of his three starts and I think he can get the job done here.

Solid in all three outings, the son of Aston Rupee chased hard last time over this track and trip, going down only narrowly after stepping away slow.

He gets the inside draw and with a clean getaway, he’ll be hard to beat.

THE MEADOWS: Race 8 (8:18pm)
No. 7 Mahogany

Mahogany comes here in red hot form looking to make it four on the bounce.

He just held on to score by the barest of margins two runs back but last time he exploded away to record a dominant five length victory at Sandown.

He’s got a great record over this course and distance and looks the one to beat.

THE MEADOWS: Race 9 (8:38pm)
No. 2 Cerulean Poppy

Cerulean Poppy is putting together a very tidy record and looks well placed to get another win on the board.

The Fernando Bale youngster won well at Geelong three runs back and has since placed in both outings over the 525m here.

She just found one better on the night last time but put up a clear margin back to the rest.

She gets a low draw for the first time in her career and with good early speed, she’ll put herself up there and be hard to catch.
