Daily Dogs – Monday, July 13

Albion Park: Race 3 (7:24pm)
No. 5 Winning Light

Winning Light has been racing well without a lot of luck recently, but strikes a winnable contest at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Cosmic Rumble was a dominant winner here in late May and has continued to race well, placing in three of four subsequent starts.

She’ll have the benefit of an empty box on her outside for this and will take beating.

Albion Park: Race 8 (9:03pm)
Same Race Multi

Dynamo Waz has been airborne of late and will take a power of beating again at Albion Park tonight after drawing Box 1.

The son of Dyna Double One has won each of his last four starts, all in slick time, so I’m going to select him as the winner in tonight’s Same Race Multi.

The other two that look ready for a big performance are Hope’s King and Fernando Beach, so I’m going to select both runners to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Dynamo Waz (Win)
  • 3 Hope’s King (Top 4)
  • 7 Fernando Beach (Top 4)
Albion Park: Race 9 (9:22pm)
No. 8 Charming Chaos

Charming Chaos is another dog that has gone to another level recently and will be tough to beat in this depleted field.

The son of Cosmic Rumble was a model of consistency early in his prep but has clearly found top gear recently and has won each of his last four starts.

With even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Albion Park: Race 10 (9:37pm)
No. 2 Summer's Flyer

Summer’s Flyer will take winning form into the tenth at Albion Park tonight and can make it two in a row.

The son of Magic Sprite has mixed his form a little this time, but he put it all together to record a lovely win from out wide here last week and should have even better prospects from Box 2.

Daily Dogs – Sunday, July 12

each way
Albion Park: Race 5 (6:54pm)
No. 1 Donna Rumble

Donna Rumble has returned some competitive efforts recently and looks a winning chance in the fifth at Albion Park tonight, at a nice price ($7 at publish).

The daughter of Primo Uno did take a few to get going, but she has missed a place only once in her last eight appearance and should be given every opportunity to win tonight from Box 1.

She looks a touch of overs in what is an open race.

best bet
Albion Park: Race 7 (7:39pm)
No. 7 Little Ferrari

Little Ferrari has clearly found top gear and will take beating in the seventh race at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Zabdon Ferrari has won four of her last five starts including three in a row leading into this race, and she has made light work of some decent field.

She needs only even luck from out wide to be in the finish again.

Albion Park: Race 8 (8:04pm)
No. 2 Swift Story

Swift Story has returned some pleasing efforts recently and strikes a winnable race at Albion Park tonight

The son of Fabregas was an impressive winner at this track and distance three back and while he was unable to get into the race at his next appearance, ran home respectably to finish second behind a good one here last time out.

He can go straight to the lead from Box 2 and will be hard to run down over the 331m.

Albion Park: Race 10 (8:48pm)
Same Race Multi

Cyndie’s Out has been outstanding in recent weeks and looks the one to beat in the last race at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Barcia Bale hasn’t missed a place at her last four starts, winning on two occasions and her form from out wide is good, so I’m going to select her as the winner in tonight’s Same Race Multi.

Farmor Forex should also get a nice cart into the race, so I’m going to select her to finish in the first three as well.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 8 Cyndie’s Out (Win)
  • 7 Farmor Forex (Top 3)

Daily Dogs – Saturday, July 11

Wentworth Park: Race 5 (7:30pm)
No. 4 Gina Keeping

Gina Keeping has returned several big efforts recently and looks the one to beat in the fifth at Wentworth Park tonight.

The daughter of Black Magic Opal has won six of her last eight starts and was last seen filling the minors of a tougher race here.

She’ll need to step well, but she will have the benefit of an empty box on her outside for this.

each way
Wentworth Park: Race 6 (7:48pm)
No. 4 Cumbria Ninno

The Group 1 Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal Final has understandably drawn an outstanding field and there is a case to be made for several, but Cumbria Ninno looks the value at around the $15 mark.

Cumbria Ninno has been in strong and consistent form this time and has won five of his last seven starts, including his heat for this race last week.

His form from central boxes has been excellent and with even luck, he can fight out the finish.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (8:07pm)
Same Race Multi

Unison has gone to another level recently and looks extremely difficult to beat in the seventh at Wentworth Park tonight.

The son of Sh Avatar won five races in succession before finishing a close-up second last time, and this does look the perfect opportunity for him to atone, so I’m going to select him as the winner in tonight’s Same Race Multi.

For mine, Typhoon To Excel is the standout second pick and he’s drawn to receive the gun run from Box 1, so I’m also going to select him to finish in the first two, while Topper Brax adds value to finish in the top four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 8 Unison (Win)
  • 1 Typhoon To Excel (Top 2)
  • 3 Topper Brax (Top 4)
Wentworth Park: Race 10 (9:18pm)
No. 6 Mercator Bell

Mercator Bell will need to be at her best, but I think the conditions of this race will suit and she can return to winning form.

The daughter of Dyna Double One has one five of her last eight starts and I am happy to forgive her most-recent effort as it was too bad to be true.

She can use her box speed to go straight to the front and she will give them something to chase.

Daily Dogs – Friday, July 10

Richmond: Race 5 (8:38pm)
No. 2 Absurdly

Absurdly has found strong and consistent form recently and looks tough to beat in the fifth at Richmond tonight.

The son of Cosmic Rumble has recorded two wins in his last three appearances, but his performance over 340m in slick time at Bulli last time out was particularly eye-catching.

This is harder, but he looks more than up to it.

each way
Richmond: Race 6 (8:57pm)
No. 1 Lady Stark

This is also a rise in class for Lady Stark, but she’s returned some big efforts of late and looks a winning chance at a price ($15 at publish).

The daughter of My Bro Fabio was an impressive winner at her last appearance at Richmond and was last seen winning over 600m at Dapto, in fast time.

She relishes races from an inside draw and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be able to fight into the finish again.

Richmond: Race 7 (9:18pm)
Same Race Multi

This looms as one of the better races on tonight’s program and there’s a case to be made for a few, so I’m going to place a Same Race Multi.

Good Juan recorded consecutive wins before finishing fourth in a tougher race at Wentworth Park last week.

He’ll be suited to the inside draw, so I’m going to select him as the winner of this race.

Last-start winner Hampshire will have the benefit of an empty box on her inside for this, so I’m also going to select her to run in the first three.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 2 Good Juan (Win)
  • 6 Hampshire (Top 3)
Richmond: Race 9 (9:59pm)
No. 5 Skeet's Desire

Skeet’s Desire has been in excellent form recently and he can use his box speed to control this 330m dash.

The son of Barcia Bale has missed a place just once in seven starts so far and was an impressive winner at this track and distance two back.

As long as he steps well, he’ll take a power of beating.

Daily Dogs – Thursday, July 9

Albion Park: Race 5 (8:04pm)
No. 2 Hope's Dynamic

Hope’s Dynamic will take winning form into the fifth race at Albion Park tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The daughter of Dyna Double One did take a few to get going this preparation, but her last-start effort at this track and distance and from an inside draw suggested that she has found top gear.

She can go straight to the lead and will give them something to chase.

Albion Park: Race 7 (8:49pm)
Same Race Multi

Stinger Noir will take winning form into Race 7 at Albion Park tonight and will take plenty of beating again.

The son of Zambora Brockie hasn’t missed a place at his last eight appearances and was a dominant winner here last week, so I’m going to select him as the winner in tonight’s Same Race Multi.

If Best Fit crosses from Box 6 he’ll take beating, so I’m going to select him to finish in the first three, while Let’s Go Ozzi adds some value to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Stinger Noir (Win)
  • 6 Best Fit (Top 3)
  • 5 Let’s Go Ozzi (Top 4)
Albion Park: Race 8 (9:13pm)
No. 3 Eulogia

Eulogia has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence and looks the one to beat again in the eighth at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Kc And All immediately stamped herself as a runner to follow when she recorded a comfortable win here on debut in May, and she has since recorded a further three wins and two second placings from her five subsequent starts.

Her dominant win at this track and distance and from this draw last week was particularly eye-catching, and a repeat of that effort would see her winning again.

Albion Park: Race 10 (9:59pm)
No. 8 Dynamite Daisy

Dynamite Daisy has been a model of consistency recently and looks a winning chance in the last at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Dyna Double One has continued to improve with each effort back from a spell, culminating in a lovely win from a central draw at Ipswich last time out.

This is harder, but her form from out wide is decent and she can continue her rise through the grades.

Daily Dogs – Wednesday, July 8

Wentworth Park: Race 5 (8:25pm)
Same Race Multi

It’s A Flirt has returned some lovely efforts recently and will take plenty of beating in the fifth at Wentworth Park tonight after drawing Box 1.

The daughter of Fernando Bale was a dominant winner at The Meadows two back and was last seen finishing fourth from out wide at Sandown Park.

She brings a unique and strong form line into this race, so I’m going to select her as the winner in today’s Same Race Multi.

I also think that Big Skinny can run a bold race, so I’m also going to select her to finish in the first three.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 It’s A Flirt (Win)
  • 4 Big Skinny (Top 3)
Wentworth Park: Race 6 (8:45pm)
No. 1 Zipping Ivy

Zipping Ivy has a class edge over most of her rivals in Race 6 and will take a power of beating from Box 1.

The daughter of Barcia Bale simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race and was a dominant winner at this track and distance and from this draw last month.

She can go straight to the lead and will give them something to chase.

Wentworth Park: Race 8 (9:30pm)
No. 8 Zipping Brady

This is a rise in class for Zipping Brady and I concede he’ll need luck from out wide, but he has been outstanding recently and looks a winning chance at a nice price ($7 at publish).

The son of Fernando Bale has missed a place just once in his last eight starts, winning on five occasions, and he is seeking a hat-trick tonight after scoring from Box 8 at The Gardens earlier this week.

Wentworth Park: Race 9 (9:52pm)
No. 1 Tiger Nine

Tiger Nine will take winning form into the penultimate race at Wentworth Park tonight and can make it two in a row.

The son of Big Daddy Cool has continued to improve with racing recently, culminating in his eye-catching win in slick time at Gosford last time out.

This is harder, but he’ll have conditions to suit and does look up to it.

Daily Dogs – Tuesday, July 7

Gosford: Race 3 (7:38pm)
No. 1 Smokey Bacon

Smokey Bacon has been a model of consistency recently and strikes a winnable race at Gosford this afternoon.

The classy son of Keybow hasn’t missed a place in his last six appearances and tends to race far better from an inside draw – his last win coming from Box 2 at this track and distance last month.

He can take up the running and will give them something to chase.

Gosford: Race 6 (8:38pm)
No. 4 Trendy Ethics

Trendy Ethics has returned some pleasing performances recently and looks the runner to beat in Race 6 at Gosford tonight.

The son of Bella Infrared mustered an eye-catching turn of foot to win in slick time at Goulburn two back before filling the minors from out wide here last week.

With even luck from the central box, he can fight out the finish again.

Gosford: Race 7 (8:58pm)
No. 1 Rivergum Gem

Rivergum Gem has drawn a peach in Box 1 and will take beating.

The daughter of Rivergum Drive has been a strong and largely consistent performer this time and returned a particularly smart effort at The Gardens two back, before running third here last week.

She should be able to find an on-pace position relatively easily and will be hard to run down.

Gosford: Race 9 (9:38pm)
Same Race Multi

Laurie’s Flyer is primed for a return to winning form and will have the benefit of an empty box on his inside for his run in the last at Gosford tonight.

The son of Fernando Bale simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race and I think this looks the perfect contest for him, so I’m going to select him as the winner in tonight’s Same Race Multi.

The other one that has caught my eye is last-start winner Lanmore Cash.

This is a rise in class, but she’s found top gear and adds great value to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 6 Laurie’s Flyer (Win)
  • 8 Lanmore Cash (Top 4)

Daily Dogs – Monday, July 6

Albion Park: Race 4 (7:43pm)
No. 2 Call Me Wisdom

Call Me Wisdom has been unlucky not to have won either of his last two starts and should be able to use his decent box speed to go straight to the front tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale flew home from out wide to only just miss two back and ran into the handy Isnt She Special again, last time out.

There is no runner of that quality in this field and he can break back into the winner’s stall.

Albion Park: Race 5 (8:02pm)
No. 7 Dynamo Waz

Dynamo Waz has been airborne recently and looks the one to beat in Race 5 at Albion Park tonight.

The son of Dyna Double One rarely returns a poor effort, but it is fair to say that he has gone to another level of late and has won each of his last three starts, all in slick time.

He needs only even luck from out wide to be in the finish again.

Albion Park: Race 7 (8:43pm)
Same Race Multi

Marske has been in fine form recently and strikes another winnable race at Albion Park tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale has won four of his starts, placing on another occasion, and was last seen recording the best win of his career at this track and distance.

He goes on top of tonight’s Same Race Multi.

The other’s that have caught my eye here at Hope’s King and Barcol Boy, so I’m also going to select them to finish in the first three and four respectively.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 5 Marske (Win)
  • 2 Hope’s King (Top 3)
  • 8 Barcol Boy (Top 4)
Albion Park: Race 9 (9:20pm)
No. 1 Farmor No Fear

Farmor No Fear hasn’t been able to get into the contest at her last two starts, but her form prior was excellent, and I am happy to give her another chance from Box 1 tonight.

The daughter of Magic Sprite recorded consecutive wins here three and four starts back and a repeat of either effort would probably just see her winning again.

Daily Dogs – Sunday, July 5

Albion Park: Race 5 (7:53pm)
No. 1 Smashniak Jelly

Smashniak Jelly has only made three appearances at the races so far, but she is clearly a dog of ability and strikes another winnable race at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Thirty Talks recorded two dominant wins when debuting last month and was last seen flying home to finish second from out wide here, last week.

Fitter fourth-up and from the good draw, she’ll take a power of beating.

Albion Park: Race 6 (8:17pm)
No. 2 Maywyn's Zephyr

Maywyn’s Zephyr has been a model of consistency recently and looks a winning chance in Race 6 at Albion Park.

The son of Banjo Boy doesn’t win out of turn, but he’s also missed a place only once in his last eight starts and was last seen finishing second behind the talented Farmor Watch You.

He’s rock-hard fit and will have conditions to suit.

each way
Albion Park: Race 7 (8:39pm)
No. 1 Back Play

There are a few good ones engaged for a start, but back play has drawn a peach in Box 1 and looks over the odds to win ($7 at publish).

The son of Paw Licking has returned some bold efforts recently, including a dominant win in slick time here two starts back.

I concede that he’ll need to be at his best, but he has genuine claims and I am happy to have a play at the price.

Albion Park: Race 10 (9:38pm)
Same Race Multi

This shapes as one of, if not the most open race on tonight’s Albion Park card and there is a case to be made for several, so I’m eager to have a Same Race Multi.

Sweet Kaos hasn’t been seen at the races since January, but has a class edge over a lot of these and is up to a big performance fresh. He goes into the first two.

Otherwise, Mamma’s Boy was an impressive last-start winner, I’m just a little wary of his drawing of Box 6 tonight, so I’m also going to select him to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 2 Sweet Kaos (Top 2)
  • 6 Mamma’s Boy (Top 4)

Daily Dogs – Saturday, July 4

Wentworth Park: Race 5 (7:30pm)
No. 8 Pearl Of Tahiti

Another Saturday, another great race for Pearl Of Tahiti at Wentworth Park.

The daughter of Dyna Double One simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race, winning three of her last five and placing on the two other occasions.

She can track the early leaders from out wide tonight and with even luck, finish over the top.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (8:07pm)
No. 6 Spring Barty

Spring Barty has gone to another level recently and strikes another winnable contest at Wentworth Park tonight.

The daughter of Barcia Bale has always been an above average runner, but is yet to taste anything but success in her two starts back from a spell and will only improve here.

She’ll have the benefit of an empty box on her inside and is primed to win.

Wentworth Park: Race 8 (8:32pm)
Same Race Multi

This is an excellent race with several key winning chances, so I’m going to have a Same Race Multi.

All Hands Off and Forners Flame were both impressive last-start winners and I can’t find a reason why both can’t replicate their efforts in this, so I’m going to select them both to finish in the first two.

The other one with appeal is Nangar Silk, I’m just wary of her wide draw, so she also goes in to run in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 All Hands Off (Top 2)
  • 4 Forners Flame (Top 2)
  • 8 Nangar Flash (Top 4)
Wentworth Park: Race 9 (8:52pm)
No. 7 Vamos Penny

Vamos Penny puts an unbeaten record on the line in the penultimate race at Wentworth Park tonight and can continue her rise through the grades.

Two wins from as many starts is how the ledger reads so far, but she probably couldn’t have been more impressive – winning by a combined six lengths.

As long as she handles the wide draw, she should be fighting out the finish again.
