The Meadows: Race 3 (7:15pm)
No. 8 Zipping Hopkins

Zipping Hopkins has tremendous late speed and some likeable form to his name from wider alleys.

The two-year-old son of My Redeemer was much-improved last week when running on late for second over this distance.

Looks likely to get right back in the run and has enough ability to swoop in late.

The Meadows: Race 5 (7:52pm)
No. 8 Big Suzie

Big Suzie is a talented track and distance winner with two wins and as many placings to her name.

She’s another one that is ideally suited racing from out wide and has enough late speed to really make her presence felt in the go for home.

The Meadows: Race 7 (8:39pm)
No. 3 Transponder

Transponder was back in the winner’s circle last week with an impressive 2.7 length win over a touch further at Ballarat.

The experienced three-year-old tends to win in bunches and has drawn to get a similar run in transit here from Box 3 off the speed.

With his personal track and distance time of 29.55 seconds being the quickest in the field, it’s no surprise to find him at a short price.

The Meadows: Race 8 (9:02pm)
No. 1 Follow The Band

Follow The Band is going great guns at the moment and it’s hard to see him coming undone from the inside box in the Maturity Classic.

His last two wins during this purple patch of form have come by well over four lengths, and he’ll likely adopt similar front-running tactics after leading for most of the way in last week’s heat.

Daily Dogs – Friday, July 19

Bendigo: Race 3 (7:50pm)
No. 4 Hypnotic

Hypnotic looks better suited back over 425m after struggling from out wide last start at The Meadows in a mixed contest over further.

The daughter of Aussie Infrared won her maiden over this trip by 7.1 lengths the start prior and has been given a good gap between runs of over six weeks.

Providing she steps well and can settle just off the speed early, she’ll be very strong in the finish.

Bendigo: Race 5 (8:32pm)
No. 4 Tropicana

Tropicana warrants big respect with a handful of track and distance wins to her name.

She was beaten nearly nine lengths last week from an identical box but should be improved for that effort considering she was up in trip.

Her best time of 23.74 seconds is the quickest in the field and she is likely to pile on the pressure mid-race.

Bendigo: Race 7 (9:14pm)
No. 4 He’s No Slouch

He’s No Slouch is coming off a confidence-boosting 4.5 length win at Shepparton last week over shorter.

The son of My Bro Fabio gets out to his preferred trip now where he’s won on a whopping 13 occasions.

He’s no stranger to winning here at Bendigo and is likely to make his move towards the final turn.

Bendigo: Race 9 (9:56pm)
No. 4 Barbie Zeal

Barbie Zeal has been racing well of late, winning by six lengths four runs back at The Gardens over a touch further.

She was back in the money here over the track and distance last Friday and is open to further improvement considering she was racing off a three-week break that night.

The 425m trip is her happy hunting ground and she should find plenty of early room with a vacant box next door.

Daily Dogs – Thursday, July 18

Wentworth Park: Race 3 (7:34pm)
No. 1 Irinka Benji

Irinka Benji is as honest as the day is long, missing the money only five times from his 16 race starts.

The son of Feral Franky is looking to build on two runner-up performances here at Wentworth Park over the same distance, and does appear better suited this time from the inside box.

His track/distance PB of 29.77 seconds stands out in this field and he looks to have enough late speed to make his presence felt out of the home turn.

Wentworth Park: Race 5 (8:19pm)
No. 2 Rinsed The Lot

The unbeaten Rinsed The Lot continues his rise through the grades with sights set on a seventh consecutive win.

He made every post a winner last week over this same journey, finding something extra in the finish to draw clear by a length.

Two of his wins have come from Box 2 so far and he should run most of these off their feet if he steps well.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (9:05pm)
No. 8 Zipping Kerr

Zipping Kerr tends to do her best racing from wider out.

The bitch by Zack Monelli has won on a couple of occasions from Box 8 and there’s no knock on her recent form featuring a win and a place here at Wenty Park.

Her best track/distance of  29.83 seconds is among the quickest in this field and she should prove very hard to hold out in the late stages.

Wentworth Park: Race 10 (10:07pm)
No. 4 His Fernando

His Fernando is a two-year-old with real talent out of Fernando Bale.

His debut win at Temora really caught the eye and he has certainly lost no admirers finishing runner-up in three starts since.

He should be better for his first look at 520m last week when beaten only a length by It’s A Freeze from out wide. Draws a better box this time and should feature on the early speed once lids fly.

Daily Dogs – Wednesday, July 17

Ballarat: Race 3 (7:38pm)
No. 6 Higher Force

Higher Force is a talented two-year-old who so far hasn’t finished outside the money.

Ballarat: Race 5 (8:17pm)
No. 8 Wild Reputation

Wild Reputation owns four wins from Box 8 to go nicely with his impressive track and distance record.

The son of Orson Allen owns a speedy 22.08 second personal best over the 390m journey here at Ballarat, far and away the quickest in tonight’s field.

He’ll look to race on speed soon after box rise and just needs a little luck getting across.

Ballarat: Race 7 (9:02pm)
No. 3 Flying Envy

Flying Envy is a talented stayer with four wins to his name from 16 starts.

His effort last week from the middle box at Sandown was outstanding, scoring by close to five lengths with a blistering turn of foot.

Ballarat: Race 10 (10:02pm)
No. 3 Zipping Kendrick

Zipping Kendrick showed real late speed to run second first-up at Geelong last week.

He was placed second-up during his maiden prep earlier in the year and boasts an unblemished three-from-three record here at Ballarat.

Likely to land just off the speed from Box 3, he’ll be one fo the toughest to hold out.

Daily Dogs – Tuesday, July 16

Warragul: Race 3 (7:25pm)
No. 8 Miss Scotch Less

Miss Scotch Less held on late for third when beaten three lengths over this journey last week.

The experienced three-year-old was dropping back from a much longer trip and does appear suited by the wide box with a win and multiple placings to her name.

She’ll likely settle handy to the speed and prove tough to hold out.

Warragul: Race 5 (8:05pm)
No. 3 Valencia Jim

Valencia Jim was a dominant 6.4 length winner over the track and distance two runs back before running into trouble last week from an inside box.

He’s a multiple track/trip winner this boy, his best coming in a solid time of 22.55 seconds.

Looks likely to race up on the speed and his best is certainly good enough to get the job done.

Warragul: Race 7 (8:45pm)
No. 2 Always A Thrill

Always A Thrill has won twice over this trip here at Warragul, his best coming in a tidy time of 25.68 seconds.

The son of Aussie Infrared is armed with late speed and some likable recent form having placed here last time out.

With nearly a month between runs, he should be firing fresh.

Warragul: Race 10 (9:52pm)
No. 3 Flaming Wheels

Flaming Wheels is a star on the rise that is worth forgiving on her wide run at Group Listed level in the Roses Final at Bendigo two weeks ago.

Her previous hat-trick of wins was impressive to say the least and she should be suited stepping back slightly to 400m in her first look at this venue.

In a thin race with little early speed, she should land right on the bunny and take serious running down.

Daily Dogs – Sunday, July 14

Ballarat: Race 3 (2:02pm)
No. 8 She’s Wired

She’s Wired came out and won her maiden quite sharply from a similar draw last week at Geelong.

The bitch by Feral Franky had no such luck here three runs back but has improved greatly with racing since.

Ballarat: Race 5 (2:46pm)
No. 8 Oprah Bale

Oprah Bale has placed twice over the track and distance.

She’s mixed her form from these wider boxes but is likely to get a nice cart into the race if she can get across early.

Her best track/trip time 25.58 seconds is the fastest in this field.

Ballarat: Race 8 (3:39pm)
No. 7 Squiggly Sam

Squiggly Sam is suited by the wide box up in trip.

He finished off only fairly at Geelong over 460m last week where it was evident he was probably looking for further.

The three-year-old by Mepunga Blazer is versatile when it comes to speed, and he should be piling on some serious pressure mid-race.

Ballarat: Race 10 (4:09pm)
No. 2 She’s On Boost

She’s On Boost likes it here at Ballarat and is drawn to go forward early from Box 2.

Her effort last week was a touch disappointing when finishing outside of the placings, but she does own a 22.41 seconds personal best over the track and distance.

With good speed engaged early, she should be one of the hardest to hold out.

Daily Dogs – Saturday, July 13

Mandurah: Race 2 (9:23pm)
No. 1 Hectare Hunter

Hectare Hunter is the easy on top selection ahead of his fourth start.

The son of Tommy Shelby has won his last two races over the track and distance by a combined 8.1 lengths.

He’s drawn ideally in Box 1 again and after winning in a nice time of 27.28 seconds last week, his late speed should prove tough to match.

Mandurah: Race 3 (9:48pm)
No. 7 Miss Envy

Miss Envy should be one of the first few into stride after scoring her hat-trick last week over the track and journey.

Whether she wants slightly further now is the only query but after winning her last three starts by over 10 lengths, she shapes as the one to beat on recent form.

Likely to go forward early and stalk the lead, she’ll be difficult to hold out.

Mandurah: Race 6 (10:53pm)
No. 1 Rippin’ Moses

Rippin’ Moses is a track and distance talent with a win and a handful of placings on the board.

Mandurah: Race 8 (11:29pm)
No. 7 Sunset Spitfire

Sunset Viper can dictate on his own terms soon after box rise.

His form this time in work has been impressive, highlighted by a last start win over the track and distance by a comfortable three lengths.

The son of Sunset Spitfire is no stranger to running big races from out wide and he looks well placed to go on with the job.

Daily Dogs – Friday, July 12

Bendigo: Race 5 (4:57pm)
No. 4 El Cazador

El Cazador has placed in four of his five attempts over the 425m trip here at Bendigo.

It’s been a while since the son of Aussie Infrared last won a race, but he was placed twice before stepping up in grade at Ballarat last week when beaten 1.5 lengths.

The slight step back in distance is a major plus and his late speed should be on full display out of the turn.

Bendigo: Race 7 (5:37pm)
No. 1 Lyrical Lassy

Lyrical Lassy goes well from the inside box with three wins to her name.

Her win over 500m four runs back in a similar event was full of merit and she certainly lost no admirers when just missing out on a place in Listed company at Shepparton last month.

Bendigo: Race 11 (6:50pm)
No. 2 Urana Zoom

Urana Zoom has placed twice from Box 2 and is likely to land on the bunny early.

She was an impressive winner two back over before finding last week’s rise in trip a little too far at Sandown.

Daily Dogs – Thursday, July 11

Sandown: Race 4 (7:07pm)
No. 7 Divine Nature

Divine Nature can pile on some late pressure from out wide.

The son of Blue Moon Rising won by a staggering 8.2 lengths two runs back before stepping up to tackle the 595m trip for third last week.

He’s done some of his best racing from out wide and should be in this for a long way.

Sandown: Race 6 (7:52pm)
No. 2 Fred Rose

Fred Rose’s late speed should be on full display from the inside box.

He’s a multiple track and distance winner this boy, his best coming in an impressive time of 29.15 seconds – far and away the quickest in this field.

Coming off two solid efforts over shorter, the rise in trip should see him hard to beat.

Sandown: Race 8 (8:38pm)
No. 1 In The Hub

In The Hub has won on five occasions from Box 1 and is always a major threat over the 515m trip.

Ten of his 16 career wins have come over this journey and he certainly lost no admirers winning by close to six lengths last week.

There’s good early speed engaged in this contest and he should be one of the hardest to catch.

Sandown: Race 10 (9:19pm)
No. 8 Cruising Billy

Cruising Billy can mix his form but he’s typically hard to beat first-up off a break.

Two of his three wins have come from out wide, while he’s no stranger to winning over this trip with his best coming in a time of 29.52 seconds here at Sandown Park.

Daily Dogs – Wednesday, July 10

The Meadows: Race 4 (7:48pm)
No. 2 Regenerate

Regenerate gets out to a more suitable distance now with three runs under her belt.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has just missed out on a place on each occasion but does own five wins over the 525m trip.

The Meadows: Race 6 (8:28pm)
No. 6 Underway

Underway is looking to snap a run of placings that dates back to the middle of June.

The experienced two-year-old has been in the money in his last four starts and has enough late speed under the hood to really make his presence felt in the run home.

A multiple track and distance winner with form from Box 6, he appeals at short odds.

The Meadows: Race 8 (9:17pm)
No. 8 Ninetymile Venom

Ninetymile Venom should appreciate the wide box with good late speed to his name.

He was strong through the line last week over the same distance when scoring by 2.4 lengths in a similar race.

With improvement still to come in his fifth start back from a break, he should be tough to hold out.

Her 30.26 second track and distance PB is the quickest in this field, while she’s also no stranger to winning from the inside alleys.
