Daily Greyhound Tips: Saturday 19th October

Daily Greyhound Tips: Saturday 19th October

Ipswich: Race 2 (6:44pm AEDT)
No. 1 Kisses For Gran

Kisses For Gran has been racing in unbelievable form with five wins from her past seven starts since returning from a spell.

The daughter of Zambora Brockie recently won her heat of the Dave Brett Memorial in 29.91 seconds over 520m at Albion Park before finishing a close second in the final.

In her first preparation she finished in the placings in each of her races over this course distance clocking a personal best of 30.79 seconds.

She’s perfectly drawn in box 1 and looks hard to beat.

Ipswich: Race 3 (7:08pm AEDT)
No. 4 Autumn Storm

Autumn Storm is racing in great form with three wins from her past five starts.

The Tom Tzouvelis-trained bitch was able to crack 30 seconds when finishing runner-up over 520m at Albion Park last start so she has potential.

She races particularly well at Ipswich having won or finished runner-up in five of her six starts over the course and distance.

The three dog has speed so will be able to give her a nice cart across.

Ipswich: Race 4 (7:28pm AEDT)
No. 3 Uno Nangar

Uno Nangar returns to Ipswich after winning back-to-back races over 520m at Albion Park.

The daughter of Primo Uno ran a best of the night 30.22 seconds two starts back when jumping from this box.

She boasts a good record over this course and distance and won over it just five starts ago in 30.57 seconds.

She’s undefeated when starting from box 3 and should land in a threatening position.

Ipswich: Race 7 (8:23pm AEDT)
No. 5 Golden Bear

Golden Bear is one of Queensland’s most promising greyhounds and looks well placed in this heat of the Ipswich Derby with eight wins and five seconds from 13 starts.

The son of Zambora Brockie was beaten by the smallest of margins in the Group 3 Queensland Young Guns Final in May.

He’s won two of three starts over this course and distance including one win in sizzling 30.32 seconds.

While the squeeze box isn’t ideal, there isn’t a great deal of speed around him which should see him able to get on the arm.

Daily Greyhound Tips: Friday 18th October

Wentworth Park: Race 6 (8:38pm AEDT)
No. 1 Power And Glory

Power And Glory is a talented chaser who has won 10 of 18 starts and placed in seven others.

The son of Hooked On Scotch went close to qualifying for the Million Dollar Chase Final last start when he just couldn’t hold out Blue Kermaro into the first turn but to his credit, he charged home to finish a close second in 29.41 seconds.

He races particularly well over this course and distance and if runs to his best he’ll take some stopping.

He won his only previous race from box 1 and I expect him to get on the arm and go all the way.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (8:57pm AEDT)
No. 2 Exploded

Exploded was a step slower than normal out of the boxes in his heat of the Sydney Cup which gave Ethanol Water the advantage she needed.

To the Jason Mackay-trained dog’s credit, he fought gamely to reel the leader in but just couldn’t get past her and finished a half-length second.

He has put together some scintillating runs over this course and distance in the past, most notably winning two and three starts back in 41.51 and 41.54 seconds.

From box 2 he can cross the 1 and find the front.

Wentworth Park: Race 8 (9:22pm AEDT)
No. 7 Explicit

Explicit is pure class and looks hard to beat in the final of the Million Dollar Chase.

The Jason Thompson-trained dog bombed the start in his heat last week but mustered speed quickly to storm to the front around the first bend before charging away for a six-length win in 29.19 seconds.

That was the quickest heat time and just his first look at the track so he has the potential to go even quicker.

He’s normally a quick beginner so if he jumps his best then he can build momentum from box 7 and lead.

Wentworth Park: Race 10 (10:18pm AEDT)
No. 1 Irinka Lindsay

Irinka Lindsay is a gifted young chaser who looks well placed to take out The Gardens to Wenty Final.

The son of Collison qualified for this final with a brilliant effort last start over 515m at The Gardens where he recovered from leaving the lids last to storm home and win by seven lengths in 29.52 seconds.

He is a previous winner over this course and distance, clocking 30.05 seconds from the squeeze box three starts back.

I expect him to settle closer in the run from box 1 and he did win his only previous race when wearing the red rug.

Daily Greyhound Tips: Thursday 17th October

Sandown Park: Race 2 (7:19pm AEDT)
No. 1 Whisky Trip

Whisky Trip has really hit his straps and is looking for three wins on the trot.

The son of Aston Rupee won two starts back over 450m at Ballarat in a smart 25.32 seconds but went to another level last start.

Starting from this box over this course and distance, he exploded out of the lids to go all the way in 29.23 seconds.

A repeat of that effort will see him awfully hard to beat.

Sandown Park: Race 7 (9:02pm AEDT)
No. 1 Vincent Bale

Vincent Bale rarely runs a bad race having won 12 from 28 starts with 10 placings.

The son of Christo Bale registered a best of the night time of 27.99 seconds when winning over 500m at Bendigo three starts ago.

He recorded a personal best time of 29.13 seconds over this course and distance last start when leading all the way from this box.

With his excellent box speed he should get on the arm and go all the way.

Sandown Park: Race 8 (9:20pm AEDT)
No. 4 Flying Zulu

Flying Zulu can bounce back from a luckless performance over this course and distance last start when slow away and then copping a bump in the first turn.

Prior to that, the superstar from the Jason Thompson kennel was low flying with eight wins from nine starts.

He boasts a good record over this course and distance with a personal best of 29.02 seconds which is superior to his rivals by a margin.

Box 4 can pose a problem but he has elite speed and can explode at box rise and find the front.

Sandown Park: Race 9 (9:38pm AEDT)
No. 3 Lakeview Emily

Lakeview Emily copped a squeeze early last start when finishing fourth in a qualifying race of the Million Dollar Chase series at Wentworth Park.

The daughter of Fernando Bale returns to her home state where she won back-to-back races recently including a slick effort over this course and distance three starts ago.

On that occasion she flew out of box 4 to lead all the way and win by 6.5 lengths in 29.16 seconds.

She should find the front from box 3 and if that’s the case, she’ll take some running down.

Daily Greyhound Tips: Wednesday 16th October

Ballarat: Race 8 (8:39pm AEDT)
No. 6 Boracay Storm

Boracay Storm is low flying at the moment and is looking to win his fourth race in a row.

The son of Feral Franky registered a best of the night 25.56 seconds when romping in by five lengths over 460m at Geelong three starts back before upsetting hot favourite Pass The Buck in his heat of the Bendigo Cup two starts back.

He was the rank outsider in the Group 2 final last start but that mattered little as he jumped well from this box before railing like a demon and go on and win in a best of the night 23.69 seconds.

There looks to be speed drawn to his inside which should give him a nice cart across.

Ballarat: Race 9 (9:01pm AEDT)
No. 6 Paw Gordy

Paw Gordy was well backed last start at Geelong and duly saluted to break his maiden status at start six.

The son of Yozo Bale settled handy before producing a powerful finish to win the 460m contest in 25.95 seconds.

He’d finished in the placings in four of his five previous starts including two back in his only start over this course and distance when clocking 25.50 seconds.

He’s improved with each run and has the early speed to find the front from box 6.

Ballarat: Race 10 (9:19pm AEDT)
No. 1 Winter Goes

Winter Goes could not have started her career better with back-to-back wins.

The daughter of Tommy Shelby debuted over this course and distance with a sizzling 22.07 second win where she walloped her rivals by eight lengths.

Last start she was challenged early over 400m at Warragul but that was short lived as she powered away to win in 22.44 seconds which was just outside the best of the night time.

She jumped from box 6 on each of those occasions but now draws the red so I expect her to jump on the arm and break the hands of the clock.

Ballarat: Race 11 (9:38pm AEDT)
No. 6 Paw Quark

Paw Quark is a speedy beginner who is getting stronger with racing.

The son of Bernardo led all the way three starts back over 390m at Warrnambool in a slick 22.19 seconds before being run down over this course and distance to finish a close third two starts back.

Last start he flew out of box 4 to lead and this time kept going to win in 25.46 seconds.

He has the speed to burn early and lead from box 6.

Daily Dogs – Tuesday, October 15

Horsham: Race 2 (2:27pm)
No. 6 Zipping Diego

Zipping Diego is a progressive juvenile that continues to make a big impression.

The daughter of Aston Rupee won her maiden by two lengths over this track and distance a couple of runs back, and was far from disgraced out over further at Sale last week.

Where she winds up from the middle box is the query, but she does have some early speed and a vacant box next door working in her favour.

Horsham: Race 4 (3:07pm)
No. 3 Numerous

Numerous rates highly here having won in a sizzling time of 22.94 seconds over the track and distance previously.

His recent form hasn’t been much chop, but the son of Aston Dee Bee is likely to find this a touch easier after free for all race last week from out wide.

He’s better suited in Box 3 and has enough late speed to pile on the pressure out of the bend.

Horsham: Race 7 (3:57pm)
No. 1 Vilma Bale

Looks to be some hot early speed on paper, which should suit the inside drawn Vilma Bale.

The two-year-old by Allen Deed was beaten by a long margin last start at Sandown, but this is hands down a much easier race back over shorter.

She’s a talented on-speed specialist that should land just off the leader and give a nice sight in the turn for home.

Horsham: Race 9 (4:36pm)
No. 3 Nosey Parker

Nosey Parker should be racing with confidence after winning in a slick time of 23.53 seconds last week.

He showed nice late speed in just his second race start and is drawn to receive another chance in a race that looks to hold plenty of late pace

Third-up with improvement still to come, this rates a winnable race for the son of Aussie Infrared.

Daily Dogs – Sunday, October 13

ALBION PARK: Race 2 (5:19pm)
No. 1 Brother Jimmy

Brother Jimmy kicked off his career in style with a determined win over this track and trip.

The son of Aston Rupee flew out of the boxes to take up the lead and despite being pressured, he kicked strongly to get the job done.

He’ll be better for the experience and with the inside draw, he looks a top chance to remain unbeaten.

ALBION PARK: Race 7 (7:00pm)
No. 8 Perky Penny

Perky Penny is a very talented youngster on the rise and will look to make it four straight wins.

Beaten less than a length on debut she’s proved superior in three subsequent starts.

Her latest win was from the outside box where she shot straight to the front and extended her lead over the final part to score by four lengths.

She gets the same draw and I think she’ll prove too slick for them again.

ALBION PARK: Race 8 (7:16pm)
No. 2 Unique

Unique presents in top form having won her past two starts, both of which have been over the 331m here.

She was given a five week freshen up in between and still found enough to hold out the short priced favourite.

A winner of twelve from twenty-five, she’s certainly talented and I think she can win again.

ALBION PARK: Race 9 (7:41pm)
No. 2 Cousin Henry

Cousin Henry has made it three wins from just four starts and looks very promising.

He won well on debut over this course and distance and was solid to the line off a slow start at his following outing here.

He bounced back with successive wins at Coonamble and from box two, I think he can make it three straight.

Daily Dogs – Saturday, October 12

THE MEADOWS: Race 1 (5:33pm)
No. 1 Saint Nifty

Saint Nifty made a big impression on debut with a dominant win over this track and trip.

From box six the Fernando Bale youngster showed good early speed to take up the running and never looked in doubt as he sped away for a 6.4 length victory.

Last start he headed to the Sandown where he couldn’t quite find the lead and found trouble along the back.

Back to this track and with the inside draw I think he’ll prove too nippy for them.

THE MEADOWS: Race 3 (6:16pm)
No. 5 Beggin'

Beggin’ comes here in red hot form having won four of his past five and I think he can add to that tally.

Two runs back he found the front but got into trouble nearing the home turn and lost all momentum.

He bounced back last time and as a winner of two from two over this track and distance, I’m confident he can get the job done again.

THE MEADOWS: Race 6 (7:16pm)
No. 4 Flying Muffin

Flying Muffin comes to The Meadows for the first time looking to make it six straight wins.

The daughter of My Redeemer has only suffered defeat once in her seven statr career and even then she produced a top effort to finish second.

Her two most recent victories have been over 515m at Sandown so she’ll have no trouble at the 525m here.

THE MEADOWS: Race 7 (7:43pm)
No. 1 This Train

This Train comes off a solid win at Warragul and looks well placed to make it two on the bounce.

Travelling well behind the leader he shot through along the rial to get up in the final stages.

The son of Aston Bale loves it here, having recorded two wins and a second placing from his three appearances and from the inside draw he should prove hard to beat.

Daily Dogs – Friday, October 11

THE GARDENS: Race 4 (3:07pm)
No. 8 Motor City Sam

Motor City Sam comes off a dominant last win over this track and trip.

From box eight, he flew out and shot straight to the front and never looked in doubt as he accelerated away to score by 4.3 lengths in slick time.

With two wins and a close second placing off just the four starts, the Fernando Bale youngster looks very promising and from the outside draw he should prove hard to beat.

THE GARDENS: Race 8 (4:27pm)
No. 6 Ultra Ego

Ultra Ego has shown plenty of talent, winning three of his six starts and I think he can bounce back this afternoon.

He won well two runs back at his first go over the 515m here but had the job ahead last time when slow away from the rails draw.

If he jumps away clean, he’ll be too good for them.

THE GARDENS: Race 11 (5:23pm)
No. 8 Smart Comet

Smart Comet is in red hot form having won five of his past six starts and he can add to that tally this evening.

His latest win saw him clock the second fastest time of the night off a wide box and he comes here on the fresh side having not raced for four weeks.

He was too sharp last time off a similar break and looks a top chance once again.

THE GARDENS: Race 12 (5:38pm)
No. 2 Rattlin' Impact

Rattlin’ Impact comes off a solid win over this track and distance and looks well placed to repeat that performance.

He just found trouble early in his prior start but last time he found the gaps and was able to take up the running and proved too strong over the final part.

His best runs have been over the 400m here and with luck early, he’ll be hard to beat.

Daily Dogs – Thursday, October 10

SANDOWN PARK: Race 4 (6:59pm)
No. 2 Fred Rose

Fred Rose comes off a solid win over this the 595m here and I think he can repeat that performance.

He didn’t have the best of luck at his prior run but up in trip last time, he settled just behind the leader and was too strong over the final part.

The most experienced runner in this field, he’s got a terrific record out of box two and with even luck he’ll be hard to beat.

SANDOWN PARK: Race 6 (7:44pm)
No. 7 Field Day

Field Day bounced back to his best last start with a dominant nine length victory over this track and distance.

The Hooked On Scotch youngster was gallant in defeat off a slow start at Warragul two runs back but proved far too slick for them last time when stepping out here.

A winner of nine from thirteen he’s highly talented and will be hard to hold out.

ALBION PARK: Race 1 (6:28pm)
No. 7 Swift Beach

Swift Beach has just the one start and was ultra impressive winning over 520m at Ipswich.

Showing good early speed she shot through to take up the running and never looked in doubt as she cruised away to score by just under three lengths.

She’s got talent and looks a chance to make it two from two.

ALBION PARK: Race 7 (8:44pm)
No. 1 Autumn Storm

Autumn Storm is in red hot form having won three of her past four starts and looks well placed to make it three straight.

She recorded her ninth career win last start, her fifth over this track and distance, and there was plenty of merit in the win as she charged home late to get her nose down on the line.

The daughter of Aston Rupee boasts a great record off the inside draw and looks the one to beat.

Daily Dogs – Wednesday, October 9

ALBION PARK: Race 1 (2:52pm)
No. 7 Shevchenko Hayze

Shevchenko Hayze made a flying start to her career with a five length victory over this track and distance.

From box seven the Fernando Bale youngster showed good early speed to cross and take up lead and she kicked away over the final part, clocking a slick time.

With natural improvement she looks hard to beat again out of the same box.

ALBION PARK: Race 9 (5:14pm)
No. 1 Slippery's Way

Slippery’s Way proved far too good here last start over the 395m and looks well placed to repeat that performance.

He just looked to get a big lost down the Capalaba straight at his two prior runs but with a rail to follow last time, he shot straight to the front and never looked in doubt as he accelerated away to score by 7.5 lengths.

From he inside draw, he’ll be hard to run down.

RICHMOND: Race 6 (7:47pm)
No. 1 Woolgoolga Gal

Woolgoolga Gal bounced back to her best last start with a determined victory over this course and distance.

Chasing hard she was able to reel in the leader and post a 3.5 length margin on the line.

It was number nine from start seventeen for the daughter of Aston Dee Bee and she looks hard to beat here with the advantage of the rails draw.

RICHMOND Race 10 (9:15pm)
No. 6 Bobby Ville

Bobby Ville made it back to back wins over the 320m here before heading to Goulburn where he produced a solid effort to finish third in a grade 4.

He looks well suited back here and was the runner up at his at his only previous start out of box six.
