FLEMINGTON: Race 1 (11:55am AEST)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Observer
Observer comes off a commanding five length victory over 1400m on the Lakeside and looks well placed to make it back to back wins.
At just his second race start, the son of star Irish galloper Ghaiyyath showed good early speed to cross and relaxed beautifully in front, before kicking away in the straight to put up a hefty margin with his ears pricked.
He showed good natural improvement from his debut, where just wanted to race a keen in the lead but stuck on well to hold second.
He looks above average and I think he’ll prove too good for them once again.
IPSWICH: Race 2 (12:18pm AEST)

No. 11 Heman
Heman has been the runner up in two runs back this preparation and looks ready to peak.
Resuming over 1200m at Doomben, he settled back second last and powered home down the outside to get within half of the length of the all-the-way winner.
Out to 1350m there last time, he again got back and worked home strongly behind the talented Tuff Tu Mus.
The son of I Am Invincible has only had one start over the mile, where he finished second in the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes, so he looks well suited with the rise in trip and the low draw should see him settle within striking distance.
IPSWICH: Race 8 (3:53pm AEST)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Warnie
Warnie has been terrific in both runs back this time in and he looks beautifully placed here third up.
Gelded during his break, the Ciaron Maher trained four year old kicked off in the Takeover Target where he travelled well in the second half of the field and charged home late in restricted room to claim fourth, beaten only a long neck.
Last start, he was unlucky in the Group 2 Moreton Cup as he found himself back at the tail off a slow start and with it all to do at the top of the straight, he charged home late into third.
The UK import has continued to progress well since his arrival in Australian the ultimate gear change looks to have had the desired effect.
The rise to 1350m looks ideal and he draws to get all the favours.
FLEMINGTON: Race 8 (4:00pm AEST)

No. 8 St Lawrence
St Lawrence returns to the races under new trainer Gavin Bedggood.
Formally prepared by Ciaron Maher, the Redwood gelding has recorded eight wins from his twenty-three starts and made it back to back successes last preparation when taking out the Little Dance at Randwick.
He boasts an outstanding first up record and looked sharp winning a recent Seymour.
With the inside draw, he’s set to enjoy a cosy run throughout and I think he’ll be strong late.
